  Basic game selection isn't bad for $40 tbh. I think this service is pretty underrated.

    Also, if you spring for Origin Access Premier, it includes the full Anthem.

    (10-hour trial on Basic). Which alone is a A$90+ purchase, and you get all the back catalogue of Mass Effect, Battlefield, Sims, Star Wars, etc, etc.

      But.. those games are cheap to buy? Sure, maybe more than 1 year subscription. But only if you include the absolute newest titles.

      I think mass effect 1-2-3 cost me $10, star wars about $20 from a bundle, burnout $15, dragon age inquisition about $25.. that leaves $20 to spare in a years subscription but it's a huge chunk of their catalogue. By about 3-4 years you could own all the games anyway (not that you'd want them all.. the thing here is if you only buy what you play, you're probably smarter than anyone else)

    I'm not usually a fan of subscriptions but in this case the value is pretty great.
    For $40pa there is a pretty decent library.

  Origin client is the buggiest piece of crap. Crashes on me so frequently across multiple PCs.

  Worth noting this is the last day of this and if you sign up today you'd be good for at least 2 or 3 weekends to play Anthem (for 10 hours) from the 15th
