    True. But this has other redeeming features and is almost an ultrabook, maybe a good choice for students with the year starting soon.

    Can easily be upgraded to 8 or 16Gb (unless soldered to MB) and replace HDD with SSD

  Bought one of these a couple weeks before Christmas from JBHiFi but it had an eighth gen i5 and 256gb ssd for about $720. Dell AU was also selling for around same price.

    yeah it was 798 at jb over the australia day weekend reviews i read said screen brightness needed to be better.

  The eighth gen i5's are even better as they are quad cores and I think outperform the 7th gen i7's.
