My tip would be to make sure there is a movie you want to see (and that its on at Gold Class) before buying. I bought some of these last time around without considering the short turnaround and ended up going to see The Meg as it was the only vaguely interesting movie at the time. (and it sucked)

I wouldn't suggest Gold class if you're on your first date.. The seats are too far apart from each other, you'll never get to kiss yo girl.

    • yes , but if you are not rich, she may think you are, in which case there could possibly be a higher chance of sexual intercourse. #ozboganreasoning

        Worked for me

@bohn: Good move dodging this on the first date, it sets the bar too high for all future dates you go on! Best bet, Maccas, sets the bar very low so anything you ever do in the future will be a step up!

      • Don't date women who give sex on first date…Whatever happened to the good old days of ladies and gentleman?

          Feminism + sex freedom movements.

  • What’s the booking fee on these? It says booking fees may apply. From memory, the booking fee is $5 per ticket for GC, which would absolutely kill the value for me.

Can anyone confirm? Looking to buy tickets and redeem for a session tonight. But $27 for GC is a bit rich considering it’s $10-12 tonight for a standard session across three or four chains.

  • I stopped going to Village. Change to Hoyts since the nearest one is all recliners and is only $12 a ticket if you use coupons.

    • Which coupons? Stopped going to Hoyts once they hiked up the prices and dropped kids discounts.

I usually get my tickets from Optus Perks.
I've noticed that coupons for Village were the same price, even if you are a kid or adult, $12.50 at Telstra Thanks for Adult/Children.

It has been over 10years since i actually purchased tickets from Village Cinemas, i've always gone through either Optus or Telstra.
