Well to be fair it is a completely new game although the player can visit the area from the previous game.
But this being an Ubisoft game it is exactly the same as every other Ubisoft game in the last 5 years while being very different. You have the areas and the main quest and the side quests and yada yada.
I thought Far Cry 5 was a well executed first person shooter that was very hard to give a shit about but it was fun (and funny because it's so stupid) for the few days that I played it without getting very far.
I only buy price matched games from them. $99-119 for a new release, no way. This deal is rubbish.

Nice. When I modded my Wii U finally I downloaded all the PS4 Lego games I had to it so I could use them as trade things when deals like this would pop up.
I'll be buying a copy or two, and then trading them right back in for profit.
PS: Anyone attempting to do this, DON'T USE YOUR EB WORLD CARD. That's how they log the date you bought it, and they have a policy you can't trade in any game within 10 days of purchase. (profanity) me up good once when I ended up with another copy for free and wanted to trade it in but couldn't do it. Went to JB instead in the end.

they can change the trade in value to whatever price for southpark as long as its still on the list as one of the titles available to trade in on far cry new dawn they still have to honor the $1 deal.

I just bought 2 copies of southpark for $9 each and traded them both for Far Cry and paid $1.
However she did indicate that Eb games will stop trading in South Park after today. Some sort of glitch in the sysytem trading those games in.

this loophole can be fixed at any time so, if you want the new FarCry Superbloom Edition game for only $19 then you should hurry.. try buying and doing this in 2 seperate ebgames, so it doesn’t look like you’re abusing a loophole..
Was going to give this one a miss as far cry’s are generally pretty similar, but happy with this outlay.
Traded in Rise of the tomb raider and shadow of war both on ps4.
Watch dogs 2 was $9 a so no joy on that one.

Before, there's no bonus with this deal.
Both Need For Speed Payback ($20) and Onrush ($18) are eligble for the deal.

I can also confirm the above. To be safe, don't scan the EB World card when purchasing South Park (or price-match elsewhere) to prevent any potential red flags on your account. Also, don't forget to remove the Stick of Truth download code slips from the case as it adds $0 to the trade value.
I did this deal today, not interested in the game, but I had two games worth about $11 each, and I figure I'll just sell Far Cry once I get it.

Nothing stopping you from returning the game within the given returns period. The way it’ll work is that you’ll essentially receive $40 store credit (as each game is traded in for $20 each) and $1 cash (the amount you actually paid), which is equal to the $41 we sell it out for when doing the trade deal.

The promo is valid until it releases (15/2). Typically these "trade 2, get X free" deals are not widely advertised on their website, only by email and in-store.
Tried a few games today but none made the cut. Guy said basically try games released in 2018 - specifically ones that sell for $30+ used in store
My neighbour traded in vampyr and strange brigade so games from 2018 definitely make the list no problems.
I'll add that the Southpark game doesn't work anymore

yeah i noticed @TheDukeOfNukem in the harvey norman deal thread was able to trade in Slain and Sine Mora that he purchased for $4 back in for $10 and $13 a week later, i am gussing he got either a dumb staff member or he knew them well enough that they must of traded them back in at what they sell for normally not the sale price as any of the $4 titles that still had stock near me still came at $1 or $3 trade in value when i just rang my closest EB store.

these games have mostly been reduced in value to 9$ trade in- sine mora etc
the 700 list is almost certainly less than 700 now - and since stores mostly won't tell what's on the list its more or less just a con now…
yep i rang and actually complained to there head office about them not displaying the list of titles available on the website anywhere when they advertise over 700 titles eligible for the trade in deal. the Canadian EB games website have a list available and so does gamestop in the US, there excuse was that the trade in value is always fluctuating so they wouldn't be able to give the proper values on the website. i said thats fine if you dont want to tell us the value of the games we trade in but at least give a tick or cross on what is eligible that cant be that hard, i know some get lucky if your quick enough before they update there systems but i never get in quick enough before they "fix" it.
eb complaints are a waste of time - very very close links with queensland fair trading…
Picked up my copy today, but they gave me standard edition and not the Superbloom edition. They said the offer wasn't for that. Did that happen to anyone else?

Did you request the Superbloom edition during pre-ordering? The receipt should say "FARCRY NEW DAWN SB ED XBO" on it.
If so, go back and push them on the issue.
Bugger. My receipt doesn't say that - Far Cry N Dawn XBO - is what mine says. I'm sure they would swap it but is it really worth the hassle
If you want the steelbook and dlc, yes.
