I know 32gb is small but this is really cheap and seams like a decent deal. Alternatively go for this https://www.gearbest.com/mini-pc/pp_009479531392.html?wid=14…

Yes agree. X265 Is important and good. Small file.
The 2nd option N3350 has h.265 built in so not an issue. Not as cheap though so thanks for the input
any good cheap <$50 android boxes? i need one for tinycampro and not tv
I can't recommend the Vero 4k+ enough. It's a little more expensive, but is more or less perfect. Linux, not android, very capable. 4k, 3D, HDR and more. <3 mine to bits.
Hmm, I can build an old Dell Xeon for around this price with a solid SSD.
Does it use as little power?
Nope. I have a 10kw solar system so I'm not concerned and it is automatically turned off when not home, when I get home I wol when I need it.
Vodafone TV would be better

It's basically bursting at the seems with value.
I get it I'm an engineer, English is a 2nd language to me.
I'm just (profanity) with you, you got your message across fine and was super easy to read. For English as a second language, you're doing much better than many people I've met who've spoke English their whole life.
so your first language is fortran ?
Don't worry, we all screw up with english.

The Intel Atom X5-Z8350 can't hardware decode x265 10bit files, and I doubt it's fast enough to software decode a decent bitrate file even at 1080. Max resolution of the HDMI is 1080p.
Honestly, if you're looking for a media player, you'd be better off with the Vodafone TV Android box (hardware x265 10 bit + 4k support).
