I just hate that it takes around 2 months for you to get the money back. It's obvs great this exists, but 2 months of waiting for money dissuades me from even making a purchase in the first place. Therefore I could say this doesn't encourage me to spend anymore money then what I absolutely have to spend. I wish cashrewards could make it one month. I feel as if they only make it so long so as to accrue interests on their end and make more profits.

I don't mean to sound rude or condescending in any way, but this is a very uneducated comment. Those familiar with the affiliate space will know the reason we can't approve transactions before a certain date is primarily because merchants need to allow for the cancellation/exchange/returns period to pass.
In most cases, we don't receive monies for months beyond the purchase date but we pay our members anyway as is our duty. So while you may believe we’re accruing interest, the reality is we’re actually out of pocket for a period of time.
We either abide by the rules of the merchants or we don’t have them on site - and without merchants, there’d be no Cashback programs for you to enjoy what is essentially free money. I know which one I’d choose.
I hope this has helped clear some untruths. Have a great day. Thanks.

Your popular Groupon amaysim deals have a no refunds clause yet cashback takes 3 months. Why is that?
‘Primarily’ is key. Please read the second paragraph.
@tightarse: Yes, but why? You are saying people are uneducated but unwilling to answer genuine questions?
@tranter: Some pay us quarterly, others much longer than that, for reasons known only to themselves. We either accept their terms or we don’t have them on site.
@tightarse: Thanks for a proper answer, appreciate it.
You made the accusation and he responded.
I'm the consumer, you're the store rep, watch your mouth before you call your customers uneducated. Im trying to provide feedback. You've lost my custom. I hope you don't actually work directly for CR because that's extremely unprofessional.
@tightarse is the best CR rep here. Even when my purchases don’t track, he makes sure I get my cashback. Who cares if it’s 2 or 3 months. As long as we get it, and the item/service becomes a bargain, I’d be happy lol
TA said this was an uneducated comment, and that doesn't equate to say you are uneducated.
An educated person can make an uneducated comment. The response is targeting your comment not you.@bcdad: I was about to say the same thing!
No one is forcing you to use it. Then just don't use it at all if it annoys you and receiving the cashback quickly is so important to your cash flow.
Personally I don't even think about it and only withdraw the money when it grows into decent amount.I said some positives about the company, I'm simply trying to give them my feedback as a consumer in the hope if more people ask, they will speed up their process. They're acting as if they have no say in what happens in their website, when they are the ones in complete control of which merchants they partner with and the conditions.
and the conditions.
You didn't even read what TA said. CR have no control over the merchants conditions.
@Clear: So a business has no control over who they partner with?
@callum54: Of course they do. If Cashrewards decided that they weren't going to partner with anyone unless everything was under their own terms then they'd have no one. Why should there be no processing time for affiliate networks? So you can order, get cashback, cashout, cancel order, refund order and repeat?
@Clear: If customers put pressure upon a retailer, retailers will in turn put pressure upon their partners. The partner is also profiting. Power to the consumer, not big businesses. Don't misinterpret what my entire post has been about.
@callum54: The only one who is misinterpreting is you. Retailers put processing limits on the affiliate networks they use to prevent exactly what myself and TA have said. Go ahead and pressure a company all you like but CR can't change it.
@Clear: So as was mentioned above, even on no refund deals, why is there a processing time of 3 months?
@callum54: Because that's the requirements of the merchant for reasons including the below that has already been stated.

OK. So I've got both apps on my Android phone. Logged in on both.
I go into the Cash Rewards app. I search Groupon and find this deal. I hit Shop Now. It brings up the internal browser and if you scroll down slightly an option to open the Groupon app comes up. I click that and…
That. I've tried force stopping both apps. I've tried restarting the phone. That's as far as I can get.
Try staying within the CR App environment rather than opening the Groupon App and should work fine.
Time to retouch my Botox
Hum, second time this week the Cashreward is not tracked through the app 😔
Is there a maximum limit to the cashback paid? For example, if you buy a $1,000 item/experience is the cashback $150? Thanks
last time i bought two 1500$ travel deals from groupon and never received my cash back
O would like to know about this too. I primarily look at travel deals and am about to purchase one. Will this be covered in the cashback?
I checked their terms to make sure its covered and only exclusions are coupon codes and vouchers.
Why did you put the 10% site wide link when it's not stackable? Now I don't think I'm getting the 15% cashback…
It is stackable…
Ok nice my bad. Looks like it just took some time to register. Awesome.
tightarse, I do not need to use the app for the 15% cashback, is that right?
Of course not. Desktop is fine :)
cashbacks for us is extra money into our pockets. We should be happy to have this. Thanks
