Okay price ATM. But don’t forget Computer Alliance on eBay had it for $699 - 10% = $629 on Boxong Day.
Unless you need it now, wait.
Plus free BFV
The free BFV is still on, but now you can choose between BFV and anthem or with a 2080 get both.
And based of how BFV went…Anthem's probably the better deal.
Same store is doing $543 for RTX 2060 similar to futu's 20% off sale (futu is out of stock now)
Same company. Shallothead is another of theirs.
I picked up a 2nd hand 1070 for about 320 (still under warranty) a few months back. Completely different to this, but I still feel one of the better ways to go today (with a potential upgrade when the radeon vii lands and prices adjust).
2nd hand 1070s are the true MVP when it comes to good value PC gaming at the moment.
Why doesn't this code work for me?
FYI, umart has an RTX 2070 with RGB for $699 atm: https://www.umart.com.au/Galax-GeForce-RTX-2070-EX-8G-Graphi…
Any 2080 ti?
is 2070 a descent upgrade from 980ti?
If you compare performance of both these cards to Pascal, the 980ti is similar to the GTX1070, whereas the RTX2070 is similar to the GTX1080. Entirely up to you the performance boost from GTX1070 to GTX1080-like performance is decent enough of an upgrade.

First two show performance difference, third has someone discuss whether it is worth it. I didn't watch as it isn't relevant to me.
I'd state it depends on your CPU, monitor and games that you play. If you have a high res monitor or want close to 144fps, while having a fast CPU, and playing graphically demanding games, then it probably is.
Thanks for the links and opinions guys.
Doesn't seem like it would be too much of a jump, might hold off for now.
Same price as futu_online.
Still not as good than the computer alliance deal.
