    • no GST

    • Not sure!!! when i clicked to review order (last stage of the order) doesn't show any GST!! May be have to pay once it reaches Australia shores!!

      • Why would you think you have to pay GST when it arrives in Australia as it's under $1000????

@xuqi: GST on amounts under $1000 is collected by overseas retailers, if they don't collect it you don't pay it nor do you pay it when they arrive into Australia.

Looks like starbuy dropped their price, it's now $299. With 5 years warranty, and Inc GST.

Don't forget 3% Shopback with Starbuy!

Also on ebay with same seller name @USD~$216 (~AUD$301)..

Unfortunately OP, its a 'no deal' now with the Starbuy price reduction + cashback & 5yr local warranty…

      • In fairness to the OP the starbuy unit does not seem to come with the leather strap

    • Yes, that was very instantaneous!!

  • nah, it doesn't have any fitness tracker

Hey OP, it seems as if DFI is a grey market store compared to Starbuy which is an Authorised Dealer (AD) when talking about watches. AD's must provide a standard manufacturer warranty for watches which in this case is a 5-year warranty from Citizen. Grey market dealers should offer their own warranty but those typically range between 1-2 years and you can't really send it back to Citizen (unless you're willing to pay for the repair/service).

Personally, I'd get the watch from Starbuy based on the small price difference and faster shipping.

Sometimes it is manufacturer warranty however it is only the international portion. For example a Seiko 5 usually has 3 years warranty from Seiko and therefore AD's, with the 1st year international and the remainder only claimable/valid in the country of purchase. So if you were to buy a Seiko from the grey market you'd still get a 1 year Seiko warranty but not the rest as it isn't Australian stock from an AD. How this translates to citizen i'm not sure - no idea if they have an international portion to the warranty.

  • What happens if you in one of those countries that is not part of the 24 countries mentioned on dial?

Can be still manually adjusted to local time?
