Free Streaming of All LaLiga 123 (Spanish 2nd Tier Football League) Matches | Coppa Italia matches @ YouTube

1880

One for the football (soccer) fans. LaLiga has announced that all games will now be streamed in full with English commentary for free on Youtube.

And to pre-empt the "how is this a deal" question, these games would have required Foxtel to watch. Further still, only highlights would have been shown and not the full games.

For a minute there I got excited as I read 'La Liga', second teer still alright though.

Still shats all over the A-league.

PS. I'm a fan of the A-league as well but the quality is definitely lacking when compared to the European leagues.

      • Yep, Victory fan here, only been to a game once (the old 'stadium'), before AAMI.
I think they should've made it Free to air access etc.to catch the Imagination of more people. Still good to have a professional league, still growing, slow and steady.

I've been to a number of Roar games including the Asian Champions league whenever the Roar make it. Even against the Asian opponents, the Roar look lacking (not to mention the farce when they lost to a Filipino side that was still in pre-season).

Went to some K-league games when I was in Korea. The quality of the football there is very good and definitely better than the A-league.

The A-league needs more foreign players to help the locals improve.

@Taegukgi: I find it quite interesting how much soccer struggles to get traction in Australia given our multicultural society and how massive the game is everywhere else in the world.

Still, I am grateful to have access to world-class cricket and AFL so I don't have to force myself to like soccer. Great game to play but so boring to watch!

(Putting my cricket helmet on now, ready to cop the abuse)

            • @xyron: It's to do with the quality of the football here. I've been a game where there were a group of Englishmen sitting behind me pi$$ing themselves laughing at what they were seeing. Doubt that they would have been back to see another game.

              • +7

@Taegukgi: that's called the 'eurosnob', they attend the a-league week in week out yet also watch english teams that they have 0 connection to and glory hunt. If the A-league improved the quality of goalkeepers and referees I feel it would be taken more seriously

            • +16

              @xyron: "world-class AFL"

              LOL

              • -4

@djgreedo: They're amongst the fittest athletes in the world. I can't say I'm surprised to have caught/catch the ire of rabid soccer fans though. Enjoy the free Spanish La Liga streams!

                • +3

@xyron: I was referring to the 'world-class' part…makes it sound like when the Americans call their baseball 'World Series'. AFL is literally played (seriously/professionally) in a single country.

                  • +2

@djgreedo: Single country? Try only a few states. Any young "athlete" can jump, run and kick a ball between unguarded posts a mile wide. It'd be more challenging to miss!

                    • @imurgod: Well, the same could be said about any high-scoring sport such as basketball or cricket. It's all relative when both teams can score "easily".

                    • +1

                      @imurgod: This ^

            • @xyron: World class AFL? Hahahaha move to the Eastern States and see how much traction AFL has up there. A-League is way bigger in Sydney than AFL and trying to dispute that pure fact will only show your true colours as an uncultured southern state hillbilly bogan.

              • @Joey Jo Jo: I think he was being sarcastic with the'world' class AFL comment

                • @fusion17: Lol I'd hope so as seeing the sport can barely claim half of the one country that cares for it as it's turf

              • @Joey Jo Jo: I live in melbourne…is Victoria not an "eastern state"?

Also, don't let statistics get in the way of your moronic brow beating:

                http://www.ultimatealeague.com/records.php?type=att&season=2…

                https://afltables.com/afl/crowds/2018.html

                • @xyron: Whilst posting facts you may want to look at participation rates at junior level before stating AFL is more popular. Now for the last couple of years Football (soccer) has been more popular than AFL.

                • @xyron: Lol yeah the most southern state of the mainland is an eastern state.

Cool links, not going to bother clicking them as we already known AFL gets big crowds in three cities of the entire world. Too bad for AFL the A-League Sydney Derby more than doubles the AFL's plastic battle of the bridge that no locals care about XD

          • +1

@Taegukgi: They also need to remove salary caps or relax them a little. A few marquee signings a team is not enough to draw crowds and talent

      • +3

I only watch A-League and the National team and hardly ever watch European league. Cause I'm an Aussie legend and the A-league is full of character.

      • +1

Salary caps here will never allow the league to dramatically grow.

      • Australia needs a B league

      • I went to many a league games mid 00's …can now can say a-league has improved leaps and bounds. While it is sub-europe quality Let's still support our league, it's the only way forward let's not shit on it.

This is coming from a jets fan….

  • Thank you very much

I can't say this enough.. more sports need to move online. As an NBA fan, I (profanity) love NBA league pass. Watching the game, live or after the fact from anywhere I like is the best!! I wish I could watch my Serie A calcio like so!!

    • +3

Most of the Serie A games are live on one of the BeIN channels on Foxtel Now (which you can watch on phone, PC, Chromecast, Telstra TV, etc). You can watch the replays in the BeIN Sports Connect app on your phone or use Chromecast to watch them on TV. You can just get BeIN Sports without Foxtel Now as well but I find the Foxtel Now streams much better. If you split Foxtel Now with a mate (one stream each simultaneously), it's $27 a month each. BeIN on it's own is $20 (without splitting).

      • Thanks for the info. I was so close to subscribing to beIN (without Foxtel) at the beginning of this season, but the pricing and uncertainty of streaming quality made me hesitate.

On a separate note, I just had another look at beIN and if you scroll down a little, their Connect plan can be purchased as an annual subscription for $199.99, which makes it $16.67 per month.

        Forza Juve!

Wanted to downvote due to Juve supporter, but ill let that slide.

          Forza Roma :P

  • Not bad. Ty

  • Epic!

I support Tenerife in this league, as I went to a nude beach there once.

    • +1

What is it with this place, apparently Steven Taylor took chicks he cheated on with there too in the latest headlines hahaha

      • +1

        Stevie Taylor, what a legend!

  • +3

nice. Wish they would do that for the 2nd German League too (2. Bundesliga).
Actually, I wish if I could see the 2. Bundesliga at all in Australia somehow.

  • +9

Serie A YouTube also streaming Coppa Italia free… Stumbled across it the other day for Juve game.

    • +2

      Added to OP. Thank you

      • Nw, not sure if it's full coverage but I thought I had started watching highlights then I realised it was live lol

    • +1

Thanks for that. My dad will be stoked to be able to watch the Coppa Italia matches.

    • Cheers! I streamed yesturday's game on bet365 site with crappy quality and no commentary. Good to know for next time!

    • +1

Great Youtube channel. Finally calcio coming into the 21st century although games have been streamed on RAI website for some years.

  • a year too late. CR7 is not there.

    • Was he ever in 2nd tier? Probably as Messi booted him out of La Liga.

    • What? CR7 is in Coppa Italia. You know he plays for Juventus, right?

      • Musai thinks this is for La Liga 1st tier, where CR7 fleed to join Serie A after Zidane left.

        • Meh, he's over hyped anyway

    @chibot for Presidente!!

If u r a die hard soccer fan, why not subscribe 2 beIN sports for 10 months? It only needs 2 savie one coffee a week.
And there r so many free streaming online though it might be piracy.

    • what leagues do they cover?

      • +2

BeIN shows Serie A, La Liga, MLS, English Championship, Scottish Premiership, Bundeliga, African Cup, Ligue 1 (France), Carabao Cup
        https://connect-au.beinsports.com/en/competitions

If you get a BeIN subscription through Foxtel or direct with beIN you also get access to their SportsConnect service which is an app and website that allows you to access additional channels for when there are multiple games being played at once (only some leagues through such as Bundesliga and Serie A). You can choose the game you want to stream.

Unfortunately if you subscribe to beIN via Fetch or Kayo you don't get access to this extra functionality.

        • Thank you!
