You need an amex credit card. Minimum spend, annual fee etc will be based on the card you apply and approved for.
Once done amex run offers from time to time (from retailers like domayne, Harvey Norman etc) which give you a cash back based on the amount you spend.
Thank you both for clarifying. However the high interest rate of ~20% per annual is the deal breaker for me. Also taking into account that sweet deals only from retailers I am not interested. Anyway, this still helps others. Cheers!
I’ve had the Essential with no annual fee for the past few years and have never paid any fees at all on it due to just keeping it in balance all the time. I use it just for promos and points.
Need to spend $750 to get the Amex cashback, so another $55 not $5.
got a slightly better price for this on Black Friday, I don't really have a benchmark for comparison but can't complain for the price. +1
How's the TV regardless of the price?
I have used their previous generation 55" TV. I would say exceptional quality given the price you are paying.
Be wary of lower specs on the 50 inch compared to the 55 inch.. 50 hertz compared to 100 hertz. Check out Whirpool forums.
@omblygombly: Have you got a link specifically where the guys over at Whirlpool discuss the hertz difference in the 50”?
The sales rep at HN was adamant the 50” was running at 100hz
@bossmode: No, sorry. I just remember reading about it in the forums. It will be in the Hisense 2018 TV thread. Just look at the last 4 or 5 pages and that should hopefully help.

@omblygombly: Hisense quote "smooth motion rate" for their TV's but that's a software rate. To find out the real panel Hz for a Hisense LED, divide the quoted smooth motion rate by 2

In any case, I bought this unit prior to seeing yours and Whirlpool's responses… I honestly can't tell the difference so, overall, I am happy with my purchase :D
I have a 58inch version that I paid $998 on special 12 months ago. Very good quality screen & tv.
The steel frame gives it a premium feel, built in screen mirror is good for video watching from mobile and especially good for viewing photos.
I think buying a good screen is important, then an android box every 2 years will keep the technology up to date. 8 years later you would have paid way less for that regularly updated system.
