I came across this offer from groupon for the prince2 certification. There are other discounted course material offers on there also. I believe this is a finalised deal (the buy now option takes me straight to payment).

This may work with the NEWYEAR 10% of code (I havent tried it just yet). I believe this makes it roughly equal cheapest Prince2 Certification (exam only) deal around? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Any advice from those that have done this certification will no doubt benefit members on here who are keen on studing this (e.g comments on study tips, online resources, past exam availability etc).

        Thats right, i dont recommend doing both back to back, but not too long either, ideally within a week.

    How highly regarded is the qualification itself? And in Australia from this training provider?

    I see groupon also gives access to pretty much all the course material for Foundation and Practitioner and I think Agile and Change Management stuff for about $50, but of course that doesn't include the exam and piece of paper.

        Thanks. I suppose I'm asking if someone was to say "I've read all the materials but I'm too much of a tightarse to pay for the exam", if that person will be taken seriously or just laughed out the door. Wording will be adjusted for a professional setting of course.

          Certification is the proof that you read the materials and retained it. Without that, I assume that candidates are ahem exaggerating. Same with "Currently studying" anything really.

    This course is accredited by a private organisation and may not be formally recognised in Australia or New Zealand

    There are books and training material is available online. Just google them. Several useful YouTube videos too!

    As a registered Prince 2 2017 freelance trainer, you get what you pay for.

    Passing a course and being able to apply it in the workforce are very different.

      unless this has changed recently, you can NOT do the exams online, for obvious reasons, and those ones that said they do cannot be officially credited.

        Why not? You can book an online test which is remotely proctored via the official website.
