A few “throws” shouldn’t affect the performance of a well designed smartphone? Well, there’s a heck of a lot of variables when it comes to throwing something, but if someone is throwing something deliberately to break it, then yeah, it’s going to affect any single phone on the market.

@Croupier: Well that was after having a new phone that would lose 20% between checking the screen for the time Lol. Horrible phone. Couldnt even transfer files and data easily work stopped buying iPhones because it was a company of mostly technicians and the only people who wanted iPhones were the clueless women who needed help plugging data projectors into laptops

Officeworks currently have these for $617, so yes it’s a bargain at $399. This is still a very good phone and has 3D Touch screen, 12mp camera. Pretty good specs overall and a lot cheaper than 8 upwards. Speed wise there is not a lot of difference with new models (as viewed on utube reviews).
Totally agree. I sold my 6s plus to the father in law and got myself a x. Have regretted it ever since.

Manufacture date was between 26/3/18 and 1/4/18 - so it could be iOS 11.2.6 or 11.3.

Other newer iPhones are great too except their prices. So at $399 have to say this has been the most decent deal ever (for an iPhone) as far as I know.

Thanks OP. I’ve been meaning to upgrade my dad’s 5S (which works perfectly fine. Screen is a bit small for his aging eyes though) for the longest time and this pushed me over the edge. Managed to pick up the last unit at Castle Hill. Great price for a fantastic phone.

For those trying to find one but can't be bothered calling a heap of stores (or like me, you try and call and are continually disconnected), I logged into live chat on the Target website and asked if there were any stores local to me with stock. 7 plus and 8 plus are the same size. Plenty of cases in the market.
Kmart has them as low as $5, but I bought one on clearance for $3.
oh, so 6+ is the same size as both 7+ and 8+.. interesting. will keep an eye out.
A few local JB Hi-Fi stores I’ve been in around Brisbane recently have had clearance stands with branded 6s+ cases going for $10.
