Still an expensive set, however the cheapest price I have seen for the new 55" A9F.

These have exactly the same picture quality as the cheaper sets so you're paying for a difference in look. Furthermore, the LG and Panasonic both have better picture quality this year.
Better sound but picture is debatable. The Sony is far worse for gaming though.
Not sure why I got negged for my comments. Someone explain any difference in picture quality and I'll apologise. Furthermore, Sony is using last years Tech in its sets so that is why the Panasonic and LG tvs are better this year.
I thought 4K was supposed to refer to the resolution, not the price! LOL!
Not sure why you'd buy this over a cheaper 65" LG C8.
Flashing near-black artifacts and macroblocks issues. But apart from that, LG all the way. Unless this TV has a built in Soundbar?
You can get the 55" B8 for 2k or the C8 for 2.5k.. Other than the amazing sound on these I don't see a 1.3k difference? Anyone care to change my mind?
Smooth gradation, better upscaling for FTA and non 4k sources, and better motion for sports. But the price is hard to take, even when compared to the LG E8 which would be a better comparison price wise from purely a sound and design perspetive.
Excellent points. You forgot to mention a built in 3.2 speaker system that is the best sounding TV on the market. I have a Sony 9000B that has built-in magnetic fluid speakers. I don't ever feel the need to switch on my Amp when watching the TV, as it sounds so good.
Yes cheapest… but honestly you would be so much happier with a 65 inch OLED for not much more.
