      • All 6 to the same email - Cards in 2 different names (1 a supplementary). They came through about 2 hours after the order.

        • Thanks for the info.
I just chatted with a rep and they said there was an issue with the gift card system yesterday so they haven’t been issued. Should be issued by COB tomorrow apparently
          Edit - they just arrived.

      • Hi just wondering, How did you order card.
Did you order all $750 card in one transaction ?
        Thanks.

        • Yes

          It must be 750 (so 500 200 and 50)

  • The $150 credit was added to my account overnight. Credit amount came from store of purchase. Might pay to check yours as well for confirmation.

So just to confirm, you can just buy e-giftcards off the website and it will work?

    • Worked for me, but we can’t guarantee the vagaries. Make sure you order the Domain ones rather than the Harvey Norman ones.

  • Can no longer save offer to card. Has reached maximum.

  • Does harvey norman sell prepaid visa card. Buying gift card with gift card?

I saved this offer to my card once the deal was posted however only on Friday I decided to use it.

So on Friday night i bought the e-gift cards from Domayne ($500,$200,$50). After purchasing it took around 10 minutes to receive the gift cards via email. The AMEX email came through straight after purchasing the gift cards. This was our first time using our AMEX card since we signed up 6 months ago. What a brilliant deal to finally use it on :)

I just logged into my AMEX account and can now the see the balance as $600. It only took maybe 36 hours to receive the statement credit :)

Pity there are scalpers who save the offer with no intention of using it. And then scalp it for $80 profit

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/431514

    • What evidence do you have that they had no intention of using it? After my last experience buying an iPhone from HN (getting pricematching and dealing with the excuses) maybe they decided it was too hard? And are simply sharing the deal onto someone else?

      • If they were simply sharing the deal, wouldn't they offer it for 600 rather than for a $80 profit.

        • No one owes you anything for free. If they want to profit on the back of their Amex deals, more power to them. If you feel so against that, you are free to not purchase it.

  • Has anyone tried to use this amex offer on other gift cards such as Uber? I'm thinking of buying $555 worth of uber (max allowed) vouchers + $200 domayne e-gift. Has anyone done something like this?

    • I don't see why it wouldn't work; try it out and let us know.

      • +3

I can confirm that it works. I've received the amex confirmation email almost instantly and the uber and domain vouchers about 10 mins later. An awesome deal as we use ubereats often.

  • Electrical section at HN Fortitude Valley refused Gift Cards for Agency Lines…Apple,Asko Miele etc

    • what do you mean. the gift cards can only work on certain types of items at HN?

      • Thats right scheps.

Was ordering a Miele item and they point blank refused to take Gift Cards.

They said it was in the terms and conditions which of course it isn't.

Rang another store and they were quite happy to take a $4000 order.

        • Was that HN Gordon that refused the gcs?

          • @SydneySwan: He said it was Fortitude Valley in the original comment …

    • Didn’t have a problem when I used them. Maybe try somewhere else.

I used 2x cards for a pixel 3 128gb at HN earlier in the month after discounts ended up paying $919.2 for the phone, and now with the recent sale, it's reduced in price ($100 off the price i paid), so i phoned HN regarding their price guarantee policy and although it's outside the 7 days since i purchased it, they are honouring me a $100 store credit instead :)

    • What made you choose the pixel 3 over the pixel 3 XL

      • Fits it my purse :)

        • Thanks for replying heh

I returned mine to them for a full refund.

Wanted to pass them to someone on ozbargain but kept getting blocked for trying to offer them for free then had to wait a week to post so wasn't worth all the effort.

    Hope other people enjoy them

  • Just bought 750 dollars gift cards and see them actually Domayne gift cards whereas earlier ones were Harvey Norman gift cards. Has anyone used these cards Domayne gift cards at HN store.

The condition mentions this term:Your gift card is redeemable at Domayne stores or online in Australia.

    • Physical or egift card ?

      • egift card

        • I got physical ones last week and it had logos that it’s redeemable across. I’ve redeemed them myself at HN store.

Easiest way to check is to add something in cart on HN website, check out and put in the egift card code and Don’t submit the order.

          • @SydOzber: Thanks spk.I tried ordering uber gift cards using one of the gift cards and can see it accepted . But the order was actually rejected by the HN security team . Not sure why. Is buying another gift card using gift card not allowed at HN

            • @auindie: Did the same and got the rejection too but eventually the gc did come thru.

  • I just ordered two cards and delivered to my email in 10 min.

    • getting in just under the wire.

  • How long does the $150 credit reflect on your statement?

I placed the e gift card order yesterday night and received email from amex “You’ve just used your Domayne AmEx offer” immediately.

But when I check my credit card transactions just now, instead of “offer redeemed”, it shows “offer expired” in the App. Has anyone run into the same problem?

    • +2

That is my experience if you take up the offer on the last day. Credit should appear in a couple of days.

      • correct and then the offer will be moved from "Offers expired" to "Recently redeemed" section.
