I picked two of these up the other day from jbhifi (much higher price), just to note these are actually USB type C connection, not micro USB as indicated online. The charger indicates 5v 2amps but there is no indication of fast charger capability (when plugged into qc3 charger it didn't appear to charger faster).
really? "much higher price", not that much difference according to their website

I paid 270 each. So it hurts a little seeing it at this price.
@Uncle BucK: i feel your pain…. how long ago did you buy it though?
Drop back in and see if they’ll refund the difference to their sale price.
Thanks, if it's still this price when I travel back home interstate, I'll try my luck.
@Uncle BucK: Give them a call to plant the seed. Others have had luck when items went on sale soon after purchase.
Did you pay by credit card? Any price guarantee on your policy?
Can these use the S Pen?
dont think so, these are the budget value galaxy series
Thanks, thought that was the case
how do i put the code in?
the code doesnt work for this , jb hi fi pretty much has the same product for similar price, rather just go pick it up from jb hi fi.
It does work. I just tried it.
It's ebay, put the code in once you're in checkout. Also make sure to press click & collect.
It's very cheap, but can it open a few tabs and browse fast enough?
It has 2gb of RAM and storage is expandable upto 256GB so this is very promising. If someone can confirm that I can install all my apps and games on the external card and save all youtube and netflix downloads to the card, then this will be a half decent buy.
You mean adoptable storage.
I'm very spoiled with high end phones, but would like a bigger screen for browsing at home. Unfortunately looking at the spec I think this will be too frustratingly slow.
I hate that my Nexus 7 (2013) still has greater screen resolution than these 2017+ models.
I imported a Lenovo Tab4 Plus when they were cheap and it craps on this and the Nexus 7.
Unfortunately the global firmware variants cost a lot now.
Lenovo Tab4 Plus,…nice tablet :-)
8" and 4GB/64GB with a decent Qualcomm SD625. Can't complain.
@Clear: I have the Lenovo P8 and yours is the newer/better version. I am not so impressed with the screen quality of the P8 ( although 1080p ) as my older Yoga Tab3 8" has nicer/brighter colours.
In The Good Guys I saw a Tab 3 or 4 Plus 10" and was impressed by build/slim and screen quality.
What's the screen like on yours?
My Nexus 10 has a 4k screen not really matched since. It is a reason I still have it.
