If you haven't played HZD, bump it up the top of your list. Absolutely fantastic and gorgeous on 4K HDR.

Frozen Wilds also on sale for those with the base game ($14.95). I purchased it during the last sale, but still in the digital pile of shame

  • Will amazon price match??? Hope so

    • Hoping they mistakenly pricematch both editions :)

  • I really hope HZD complete comes down to the $20 low soon! :)

  • if you have access to Hong kong store. they are selling HZD complete for 75 hkd = 13 aud

    • Do you have to login to that account each time to play?

      • No, just once to download it, then you can switch back to your main account and play whenever you want.

        • Could you tell me how?

I am unable to change the region on my main account and if I create a new account, I select Hong Kong, download it but if I then swap to my main Aus account, hzd won't be available on my main account, will it?

          • @PuppieWayne: Basically what you described is the process. Of course it'll be available.

I have an account for each region and use most of them depending on the savings and games that aren't released in AU.

After I've created the account for the other region and have activated my PS4 as its main account, I login to, for example, my HK account. Fund it with a PSN card from either OffGamers or Play-Asia, then buy a game that is cheap/not available in AU. I start the download and logout of that account.

I then log back into my main AU account, wait for the download to finish, then it's available to play on my account and earn trophies etc.

            • @Goldfire: Genus!

              I'll have to try it!

I'm unsure if this will cause a problem but I actually have two PS4 as I have two residents.. due to work.

I've yet to link any of the unit as my primary but I presume once it's been downloaded, say from the HK account.. I log out and back into my aud account, hzd will also be available on my other unit?

              • @PuppieWayne: Unfortunately, it'll only be available for all users on the PS4 that is set as primary for your HK account.

So, with HZD from the HK store as an example…

PS4 #1 with the HK account set as its primary and your main AU account logged in will have access to HZD.
PS4 #2 without the HK account set as its primary and your main AU account logged in will not have access to HZD - however, you can stay logged in with your HK account here and play it.

The fix is easy (and annoying) though, simply deactivated PS4 #1 and activate PS4 #2 with your HK account.

You won't be able to play your HK purchased HZD on both PS4 consoles simultaneously with your main AU account as it needs to validate the license check every 30(?) minutes. The license check is avoided after setting the console as the primary - otherwise, you'll need to remain logged in with the foreign account.

Myself and many others use use this method to essentially game share. I have my main AU account shared with my nephew and vice-versa.

My PS4 is his primary console on his account and his PS4 is my primary console on my account. I can buy a game on my account and he can download it after logging in as me on his PS4. After he has started the download, he can switch back to his account on his PS4 and play the game on his account and vice-versa. We can also play the same game together.

Back in the day with PS3, we could activate five users on one account. I had a group of friends that would chip in on a game, say Borderlands, and we could all play together on our own PS3's for a 1/4 of the cost.

Nowadays, we can only activate two PS3 consoles and only one PS4 console on the single account. Which still has its advantages if you own multiple PS3 consoles, you can self-boost multiplayer trophies.

Hopefully I answered the question amongst all my rambling.

                • @Goldfire: Thank you!

Yes you have.. up just have to play around with the setting.

I've read a little more via the net about setting primary account so let's see.

Be tragically funny if by the time I do ask the above, hzd is off sales. :)
