          Yes. Higher end ones have this too. It's usual if you're using in an office where you still want to hear when people contact you.

    Trouble with ANC earphone is that the ANC cannot differentiate between sound pressure and actual wind pressure. On a windy day, or if you are riding a bike, they generate a howling noise to cancel the non-existent 'sound'.

      I don't think I'd want to ride with ANC on.

      Some headphones handle this better than others. My old Audio Technica pair could not cope well with wind, whereas my Bose ones are pretty good.

      Just got these today … the sound quality is amazing, plenty of bass and good clarity all round.

      Haven't truly tested them for a) running and b) noise cancellation.

      Initially turning on the noise cancellation didn't give you that instant effect you get with the Bose over-ear , so I'll test them outside tomorrow and hopefully they deliver

      Delivered yesterday. Sound was fair. But ANC was NOT working AT ALL, and plus more static noise. Really poor ANC product, they should delete ANC in their description. The sound isolation reduced prob 20% and ANC does nothing. Returned already (and thanks to amazon's easy return). Won't buy from this brand in future.

        Can't say I'm blown away by the ANC either, but not enough of an issue for me to return it. I like the sound quality, and they were comfortable when I went for a run yesterday.
