I have used PlanetExpress recently and have found them the cheapest for postage bar none in postage costs IMO, and really good service to.

Referrer gets $5 credit.
I previously emailed them asking if they charge 10% gst for shipping to Australia and they said:
“No, the packages are sent as DDU (Delivery duty unpaid) so you have to pay customs duties by your self if your package will be checked by your local customs office.”
So I take it to mean it’s like a parcel before the gst thing. Under $1k will sail through , over $1k the normal gst duty process applies.
That should be correct.
Cheaper than Shipito?
Yes. PlanetExpress is run by the ex COO which explains why the service at Shipito has gone down recently and why PlanetExpress looks familiar.
Cool, thanks for the info. Signed up
No way I'm leaving Fry, Leela and Bender in charge of my shipping needs ;)
Awesome! I just created account 2 days ago for my 1st delivery so this is great timing. Also it's USD $5 so almost AUD $7. Maybe update post.
And good to hear about no GST, most others charge it
To shreds you say?
Good News Everyone!
Shipping address provided is in CA so there's a sales tax of 9.5% for all purchases.
I checked the shipping cost with one of my parcel sent with MyUS and it still works out cheaper with MyUS as they are offering 30% off rates for AMEX cardmembers.
Good time to import a brand new latest model Ipad (on sale for US $229 from $329) @ Walmart https://www.walmart.com/ip/Apple-iPad-Latest-Model-32GB-Wi-F…
Amazon matched them and have already sold out
Although I still think as littleburrito said above MYUS is cheaper and i've been using them for about a year and have been awesome :)
Looks like DHL shipping costs have increased :(
How does this work with the new GST bollocks, any idea?
