ZanFlare F1 USB Rechargeable Flashlight - BLACK 4500-5000K US $16.98 / AU $23.78 Delivered @ GearBest

70

I bought one of these about 3 weeks ago (yet to arrive still) but I paid over $20 for it. Now its a flash sale with 1000 units for the next 13 days.

Reviews seem pretty good and at this price I don't think you can get any better for a bright handheld 18650 USB rechargeable torch. I might pick up another one!

I actually paid $50 for one of these ageeees ago. It's a great flashlight.

    Has been $17.12 AUD previously.

  • Mmmm says >1000lumens but it says 590lumens on high for 2.5 hours?

    • +2

It only runs on ~1000 lumens for a few minutes. It steps down after that to avoid overheating.

  • This is a great price for an XPL torch.
    but the price says $22.39.
And that's only for the 4500-5000k version, not the 6000k-6500k version.

Do the reviews seem a bit off to anyone else? A bit too long and overly positive to be a legit review

    • Agreed, I notice this a lot with GearBest Banggood etc, the reviews are rarely below 4.5 usually 4.8 or above.
How is this possible? When looking at eBay product reviews they're all over the place as you would expect.
With GearBest they're always long and enthusiastic and thousands of them.
as if you were asking some Born Again Christians to write a review of Jesus.
My thought is they delete poor reviews.

They use review writers and even straight up rip reviews from other products and websites

And if you review negatively, that review doesn't appear to the outside world, except for your eyes.

How do I know this, I received some fake micro SD cards from one of the big Chinese web sites earlier this year. Placed a review with 1 or 0 stars and explained how it was fake.

I could see the review, however when I logged out and checked the site, my review couldn't be found and the item had never received a negative knock.

Not doubting the reviews on these sites are skewed, but torch collectors are a special breed, pretty passionate about their torches.

In this case, as an owner of one of these I would have to agree with these lengthy positive reviews. Great torch for $20 (Hey OP, update the link with the email only offer I linked below).

      • Thanks very much. I’ll give it this ago now. I was worried given it was significant cheaper than my Thrunite 2a v3 which was already very well priced.

Do you have any suggestions for a decent protected 18650 battery?

  • Does it have memory or is it dumb?

    • I think you are looking for the 'graduate' model

    • It has memory

  • Hopefully it'll get delivered before Summer ends…

Shipping is usually 6-8 weeks with these guys…

  • +1 for these. excellent torches, would highly recommend.

Good torch, but hit up this link for the "email only" price of US$13.98 shipped. BTW, looks like this is from a 3rd party seller on Gearbest)

    • ~$19.55 AU delivered.

  • Batteries not included??
