I was searching for a Sphero ball for my son's birthday and came across EB Games having a sale on the Sphero Mini. For those unaware, it's a robot about the size/shape of a ping pong ball that you control via bluetooth with an app. It can be used as a fun toy but also as a STEM tool to teach basic coding in an engaging way.
My son's loving it so far and I've just picked up a couple more to give to my nephew and niece as Christmas presents!
With an Officeworks price match, it comes down to $44.65.

I think teaching kids coding as early as possible can only be a good idea going forward.
For dinosaurs such as myself though, it still looks like a bit of fun.
