Pack of 20 SanDisk Ultra 64GB Micro SD Card $20.95 from Amazon AU [Pricing Error]

This might be another amazon au pricing error or listing error. I stumbled across this while trying to use the credit given from the dishwashing tablet pricing error from amazon au. The listing says its for a pack of 20? Unsure if this is accurate or not. If it is, $20 for 20x 64gb micro sd cards is an absolute steal. If it is another error, they might give us more credit for having incompetent website editors.

If inappropriate, please delete. Thanks.

Edit: the SanDisk 64gb cards don't seem to add to cart anymore. Try using one of the other ones listed in the comments, or just try to find another "pack of 20" item if you wish to join the 'amazon's headache party' .

  • If only I could raid 0 this

    • There used to be SATA adapters that would supposedly RAID up to 8 micro SDs… probably just cheap junk though.

  • Geez just missed out.

Awaiting to see who gets a 20 pack..

  • +3

gotta lol at customers review "I just purchased two of these" with photos of 2 only. was kinda hoping for pics of his bulk box of 40

  • +2

Comments say that one customer confirmed from sandisk product support that these are fake cards. Reading that comment and a few others confirming these are fake, i stopped.

    • +1

That's probably why the listing says

This is an aftermarket of generic part

    • They likely purchased from a marketplace seller not from Amazon. Look at the number of positive reviews with extensive testing.

      • +1

I don't know but the description also says that its an aftermarket of generic part

  • +1

Friends, its only 1 not 20. Check the comment from seller

    • +5

We know. Amazon will refund everyone due to misleading information = free SD card.

    • Thanks Captain Obvious!

  • Even Shopping Square is in on this. Hmmm what'going on!!

    • Its most certainty a listing error.

Question: Is it 1 or a pack of 20?
    Answer: It's only 1.

Why the hell they have pack of 20 then?

    • That does not bode well for me

    • By Techvip though? The listed seller is Amazon.

    • does this mean a high likelihood that amazon will not refund?

  • +2

couldn't add to cart. feel i've dodged a bullet with this

    • +1

      Same

Irrelevant. The advertising is for a pack of 20. We will get one I know, but then complain to Amazon.

    • Oops I can't even cancel the Shipment.

  • I have one in my cart… wondering if it's worth the hassle. I don't even need a card… LOL

    • Damn! someone snagged the last 400GB one :)

We were here. Something to tell the grandkids.

  • +4

Checkout the answer section of the listing. The seller said it is only 1.

    • Hahaha we're just all idiots lol.

    • False advertising then, class action lawsuit time!

  • Think of this as free shipping, add us item you want then cards, refund the cards after

  • +3

I just realised that if they honor this I will have 57 cards more than I need.

    • Flip them on fleaBay and scumtree

      • +2

Nah they can go in the same drawer as my enloops

    • +1

my next 10yrs storage needs sorted out

  • +1

    Bought 20 pack of 400gb, 128gb and 3 X 20 packs of 64GB

Hopefully Amazon will only charge 1/20th price and refund the rest as they did with the lifx 4 pack price listing when you complain

      "Whoa" - Keanu

  • +1

So… I just spent $300 on micro SD cards. :|

    • But is it worth the hassle?

      • +1

        Yes.

Being an Ozbargainer is not synonymous with being a wasteful indulgent environmental vandal, which buying 3 packs of this just to save on postage is. All that plastic packaging did not grow on trees.

    • +2

It spurted up from the ground.

    • +2

      Pipe down, hippy. ;)

  • I don’t think they will honour the steal this time. You can search ‘pack of 20’ there are many listed.

    • +2

      Please don't steal.

  • +3

Worst case scenario, I just paid $20.95 for a handy little SD card that costs $27 at Officeworks.

    • +2

Hey we should have gotten Officeworks to price beat this deal.

      • OW doesn't have "pack of 20" item available :)

  • Got one for AU~$20.90 sold by Techvip.

    • +4

I like my chances better with sold by Amazon US.

  • +1

Amazon!!! You got some 'splaining to do…

  • Sandisk SDSQXAF-128G-GN6MA SanDisk Extreme 128GB microSDXC UHS-3 Card - SDSQXAF-128G-GN6MA Black, Pack of 20

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Sandisk-Extreme-128GB-microSDXC-UH…

'Ships from and sold by Amazon US'

    Approx $62 inc delivery ($8).

  • Waits to see if we get an Ozbargain Xmas miracle…

  • so it shouldn't matter if it says "Ships from and sold by Amazon US" right?
    I bought this one https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07FCMKK5X/ref=od_aui_d…
and I was so paranoid that I did 3 different screenshots before and upon checkout haha
Lets hope we all get at least one free or some type of compensation!

    • The item name is in the order confirm email as well
      So finger cross :)

  • -2

Don't forget cash rewards….or is that quip already been made..

  • -1

I wonder when will amazon starts handing out bans. Lol

  • -1

Placed my order, lets see what happens :p

  • +1

Ordered 2 x 20 (40) if it goes through. Will be powering all my Hikvision cameras =]!

  • +2

I ordered 60 of these as well.

  • +1

Thanks OP, bought a 20 pack. Hopefully Amazon honors the description - email confirmation has the 20 pack in description.

  • -1

Thanks!!! Bought 128gb as 256gb is no longer available :|

That looks like just a card reader. Seems like a fairly versatile reader though. Nifty design on the USB A/micro-B plug.

  • -1

lol check shipping weight under Technical details.. must be ultra light extreme :D

  • Cards include security feature for protection of copyrighted data
SD cards are fully compatible with all SD-compliant devices
Speed performance rating: Class 4 (based on SD 2.0 Specification)
This is an aftermarket of generic part

    Interesting. It's not actually SanDisk?

    • Which product are you referring to?

    • +1

Obviously some item listing says card or card with/plus adapter,
some only says card adapter, black, pack of 20, an aftermarket of generic part, compatible with sandisk cards, Speed performance rating can only support up to class 4

So the seller might send you pack of 20 adapaters instead of the sd card itself :)

  • +1

I bought the 128gb and the 64gb pack.. hoping for free credit. They surely can’t honour hundreds of thousands of orders

  • +1

I was OP of the Powerball deal, thanks for the next community backlash thread. Love this site. Oh and it allowed me to add the sold by Amazon cards just now too.

  • Maybe this is some sort of a protest by Amazon staff, like the one they did on black friday

  • +2

    • maybe they are referring to pack of blank adapters? lol

      • +1

Looks like the listing has mixed up the information of:
        SD card
        SD card adapter
        notbook/tablet

        in the title/summary and description.

It's a mess, no matter what will happen, customers are always right.

    • "Sandisk SDSQUAR-064G-GN6MA Ultra 64GB Micro SDXC UHS-I Card with Adapter - 100MB/s U1 A1, Black, Pack of 20"
This is what's on my invoice, Card with adapter

      • +1

I concur. It should be a card with an adapter within ONE packaging. You know this from buying Samsung branded microSD card before. This should be one whole package x20.

        • That's what I'm expecting, except I should be getting 20 of those lol

    • This is the packaging :)

  • +1

Somehow I don't think they'll be shipping out thousands of micro SD cards to OzBargain users.

  • Just bought one. Now Let the game begin with Amazon:)

  • Some how i got free shipping without Amazon Prime.

Tried to make a second (separate) order and it wanted to charge shipping. weird.

  • +1

Had to join in. I went with this one thanks OP.

  • So whats happens if every receives 1 sd card for $23?

    • +1

      Amazon will give refunds

    • +5

You'll be in a 10,000+ strong complaints queue with everyone else from ozb. Good luck with that.

    • +2

From the view of this and the title says pack of 20, you can literally argue with false advertisement if you get only 1
