      If you want a good torch, the C8S is worth every dollar even at full price. Well built, very bright, good battery life. Bought myself another one

      Different reflector design, no indication of what LED module in that torch, no indication of lumen output.

      Not saying its not a good torch, but its different to the one in the deal.

    most people do not have prime…I assume…therefore with postage to yours …no saving. Also, assume people might be caught with Shopback & Cashrewards rebate, that you mention, as I think you are ineligible, as far as I can determine.

      You don't have to cycle through all the modes, it remembers what your last setting was when you turn it on.

      When turning on, tap the button to cycle through the four normal modes. This works fine. The C8s has mode memory, but only if the mode is used longer than 3 seconds. If you turn on-off-on within three seconds, the light will start at next mode in which you turned off. A bit strange… To enter strobe-mode, you have to tap twice quickly. This needs a lot of exercise, and I failed regularly. This isn’t ideal when you’re in a stressful situation.

      The C8S has memory as WatchNerd said.

      From other ThorFire torches i've used, the Q8 also has memory/ramping mode. I reckon the UI is very easy to use.

      I don't believe ThorFire has any variable zoom torches, however if you're after something short and has range as well as "floody-ness" maybe the BLF Q8 if you willing to spend the price. Alhough it's not the most portable due to its thickness and weight. It just a bit smaller than a soda can. I would recommend this though as it is my most used torch thus far.

    This is a good deal. However you can sometimes get the BLF A6 for about $30 at various places. Better torch but doesn't come with a battery, and you'd need to have/buy a charger
