sadly, this is the typical price for these kind of goods. I know in david jones, and in street markets, vendors sell choc dipped fruits for $3-6 a piece. and surprisingly, i ALWAYS see people buying them. bit out of my budget, but they could be amazing, i don't know tbh since i've never tried, and prob won't due to cost. (and choc covered fruits isn't exactly a new concept :/)
won't neg since i do know the market is there
people do pay well for things dipped in chocolate and has been hand decorated.
You don't pay for the taste or nutritional value, you're paying for how pretty it looks..
yep. like i said, the market is there, just not my thing :)
You have to wonder… Chocolate is cheap. Berries are cheap (relative to paying $4 for one). Just dip it in molten chocolate yourself and save 90%+.
OP: Please put "NOT Halle" in the title to avoid confusion. And bitter disappointment.
jk
$4-$5 per berry is a bit rich…
