Huawei Mate 20 Pro Dual Sim $1270 + Delivery @ Mobileciti eBay

    • With delivery its more for non ebay plus member. Plus, it was a system error that accidently gave 20% instead of 15%,that didn't last long.

      • Your deal also charges extra for delivery. So saying the link I posted is more expensive because of delivery for non members when compared to yours with free shipping for members?

Also since that deal gave 20% and was $1270, yours is also 20% off but is $1274. This means the non discounted price of the phone has gone up

        • +1

Yup I admit i missed the delivery part, as I'm eBay plus member as well, it didn't show up with delivery fees.

My point still, it was system error that got corrected.

I'm merely sharing a deal that I think is a bargain, not trying to start an argument. I can take back my word re: cheapest so far, if that please you

    • That 20% code didn't last long, if they gave out thos $100 Visa cards at that time would of been $1170, Allpnones accidentally had comments on their eBay page getting a free Visa card from mobileciti, when I question them, they said it was a mistake, damn I could of got the phone with the Visa card this was about 2 weeks ago during a 20% off code to about 2 weeks ago :( I also took screen shots as well. If I just brought it might of got the phone for $1279.20 and the $100 Visa card on top.

  • Thanks op, but want dual sim one

Free spyware included now that's a bargain

What a load of rubbish, please don't fall for the political/economic agendas pursued.

      • -7

        something chinese would say..
There is irrefutable evidence of Huawei spying

        • +1

          Can you share this evidence?

        • +12

And the Australian government just passed a law enabling far more spying on it's own citizens than Huawei do.

        • +1

Care to please share your source?

        • +7

Mentions "irrefutable evidence", unable to provide any evidence. This sums up the internet.

        • +2

If you call Huawei is spying… I think you never notice that you have been always naked to CIA.

        • +2

And what makes you think Google, Apple and Facebook are not spying on you on behalf of alphabet agencies?

        • +2

If you have the evidence, please provide to the public. If not, then shut

        • +1

Please look into australias new anti encryption bill.

WE are spying, AND have public proof of it.

huawei was ACCUSED, not of spying, but of having low level command control of their core chips.

COULD it be used to spy? Yes! If its true.

Evidience? Well, please provide it, because no organization can show the public 'proof' yet.

The only chinese company caught spying sofar was oneplus.

        • -2

so many PRC mouthpieces leaping to china's defense. lol. My bad, 'Chyna numbah one!'

          • +1

@ironworthy: I’m not sympathize with prc or huawei, let alone be their moutpiece. But for the spying issue, please don’t impose double standard, as other has said our govt just passed the new encryption laws, enjoy. And always ‘Taiwan numbah one’.

          • @ironworthy: "irrefutable evidence"

So instead of any form of evidence, what we have instead is a juvenile response.
Mor0ns like you, is why fake journalist and news continue to exist.

          • +1

@ironworthy: Why so racist toward chinese accents?

Not that it matters, but im 100% aussie, and happy to call it as I see it.

            So show me the evidience.
And i'll call it as it shows.

So far, you've been unable to show any.

Whats your agenda buddy? You're very quick to attack this company, promising proof and delivering none.
Do you have stocks in a competing company?

Kindly reminder: just be prepared a backup plan when the screen gets green.

    • Apparently there has been a fix in the new batch, how to confirm if these are part of the new batch though?

      • Make sure it's not the LG screen and your chances are significantly reduced.

  • +2

I wouldn’t buy a notch phone especially one that cost this much, notch era will end soon. In the coming months we will see the start of hole-in-display era, which I think is looks more aesthetically and not trying to look like an iphone.

    • Any reference ?

      • Here and here

        • +2

The mate 20 pro allows you to hide the notch if you don't like it. It creates a black bar across the top the same thickness as the notch and doesn't put anything in it except except for date /time and status info.

It does a pretty good job at it.

          • @Name: Well I prefer hole in display and full screen rather than a black bar across on top and bottom of the screen.

            • @[Deactivated]: yeah, i'd also prefer no hole in the display at all. But that is a long way off.

    • Had a look at Huawei latest release Nova4, guess what no more notch.

  • I remember when Huawei first launched, they have come far but so have their prices compared to where they started..

    • Started from the bottom, now we're here.

Lol the guys at Mobileciti didn't like me Finding a price cheaper than their dual sim Mate 20 Pro phone and it was the similar price to the single sim from Allphones, so they took the Allphones one off eBay about 2 days ago,you can view my comments in this topic https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/423866

Been monitoring price for the last 4 weeks on this phone.

The best price I've seen on the dual sim with eBay plus is $1279.20 from Allphones. If I see cheaper I'll let you know as I'm on the hunt for it for $1200 or below brand new, feel free to pm me on pricing as I'm doing this into the new year until it goes under $1200, eBay sells from private sellers for around $1000 to $1300, some opened or sealed.

There was also a global model from a green colour going for $1281 plus shipping but it's from New Zealand with one year warranty on catch.com.au, but they selling them at catch about $1400 range at the moment for dual sim. https://m.catch.com.au/search?query=Mate+20+pro&search_src=t…

  • The green version still there for $1281 dollars but not sure how catch.com.au works with their warranties any thoughts https://m.catch.com.au/product/huawei-mate-20-pro-smartphone…

  • I ended up paying $1080 for this same model from mobile-citi after eBay gift card 5%, 10% PYRO10 code, 1% cashrewards and 10% TRS with NBD express post with eBay Plus :)

    • Nice one I'm heading oversea soon it's 60 days or less with TRS going in Feb 2019

Would you rather have overseas or local government spy on you? My choice is clear.

    • +3

Overseas? like NSA or CIA? If you use the US parts, you will be very transparent. LOL

    • +1

Local government now is spying with the new law passing, no matter what brand of phone you have

      • +2

I cant believe that law actually passed. Talk about rights and privileges and a free country..
