New to Spotify - What's The Beast Way to Get It Cheap?

Hi

I need a 'premium' spotify account. It appears to be .99 for 3 month trial then about $12pm after that… Is there a way to get it cheaper?

    Join a family plan, with your family.

    Plenty of people on Ozbargain looking to get adopted into a family account.

    I think there is a VPN hack that allows you to purchase another cheaper countries premium Spotify but still work here in Australia like with Netflix but I'm not sure I may need another more experienced user to come in on that I just think I remember reading it in passing somewhere..sorry just ate so kind of food comatose right now and half falling asleep.

    VPN Philippines and sign up for Premium (approx $2 AUD/mo) or family ($5 AUD/mo)
    Will need to set up a Philippine Paypal account and link a card that's not currently linked to any paypal - even aussie credit cards work fine
    Once signed up you don't need to use the VPN

    Not too difficult if even I can do it

      Interesting. Are you charged in AUD or the Philippines currency? I have a 28 degrees card not connected to paypal which would avoid international fees on my local card?

      Both of my free VPN services don't have Philippines as an option. Did you use a free one?

        They charge you in PHP so it does fluctuate a little each month - family is currently $5.20 based on my last charge. Yes 28 degrees would be good; I use the citibank plus card for that reason.

        I used a paid VPN - can't recall which one at this stage but there was a deal on ozbargain.

        Alternatively, go on Spotify family in Australia and split it with 4 friends (or list on oz classifieds)

    The "beast" way to get it cheap would be to do bull testosterone for a few months and lift weights like crazy until you can flex and tear out of your shirt. Then go to Spotify head office, flex in beast mode and demand cheap Spotify.

      Thanks - this looks ideal also.
      Come to think of it I might be able to get 3 others from my family on board.

      I need to research streaming and music download services more. My parents asked recently how do they download music and I haven't got around looking at legal methods. The DRM on streaming services of downloaded files seems to prevent use outside spotify player.
