Hi OP, where did you pull that resolution spec from? I was going to slam retailer for claiming "full HD" then having 1366 x 768, but when I launched brochure I only see:

Supports full HDPVR recording to USBContrast ratio 5000:1 (Dynamic)Brightness: 300cd/m2Built in Digital TV tuner3 x HDMI inputs1 x USB portComponent inputComposite (AV) inputPC (VGA) inputCoaxial audio outputHeadphone jackUnit Dimensions: 73cm x 17.9cm x 47.1cm

    • I googled the model number and found more details on it in a eBay posting. Here is the link

Thanks for the clarification, looks like that ebay retailer is being more honest - I still take issue with Big W's claim in opening paragraph of "full high definition". Not negging the deal, or the tv's features-fot-purpose; glad you added the extra research.

"Supports Full HD" is the sneaky way of saying this TV accepts a 1080p input signal and downscales it to 768p. Early non-full HD TVs choked when you sent them 1080p/i.

We have the tv, 1080 from an android box works fine.

        • yes 1080p signal, but what is the native resolution?

  • Would this work well as a computer monitor?

    • +3

Sure will! It has vga and hdmi ports. That’s what I was considering buy it for.

      • Why is my comment getting down voted? Is what I said not true?

Too many trolls. Not all of us are bad. Here's a +1 for you.
Hope you have a nice day :)

      32' with 1366 x 768 resolution?

Surely there are better options out there?

      • No, not at that price. Full HD are around $600…yep, that expensive.

    • Not if you enjoy looking at large pixels.

    • Input lag would be noticeable.

      • For this size and price with a known brand name? Please show me one

Just because it works doesn't mean its a good idea. 1080p on a 32" looks shit up close, so 768p is gonna look disgusting. How often are you using your computer? If it's something you use every day why not spend another $200 and get something nice to look at. If you can't afford to spend more money, then get a 1080/1440/4k second hand.

      God no.

    • Nope, spend a bit more and get a good used computer monitor

  • Is 17.9cm with or without the stand?

  • I posted this here first but in hindsight I should've put it up as a separate post as it's not specifically about this TV

We bought this TV yesterday. And a $19 wall bracket from Bunnings.

Tv works really well, picture and sound is fine.

Correct , it is HD not full HD. I have been looking for a FHD 32inch tv for weeks now and there’s only a few around and are around $600… not worth the price for a bedroom TV.

This tv is good, nice and cheap, I also got a $72 Vodafone Android box, all works. Netflix, Spotify, TV, YouTube, iView. .
