Came across this deal on my hourly amazon browse, I bought one from kogan for $2050 so this is a great deal IMO.

The brand new 1-inch CMOS sensor has an active sensing area four times more effective than the original Mavic Pro.
10-bit Dlog-M Color Profile The Mavic 2 Pro supports a 10-bit Dlog-M color profile that yields higher dynamic range for more flexibility in the grading room.

HDR Video With 4K 10-bit HDR support, the Mavic 2 Pro can be plugged into a 4K TV with HLG and will immediately play back footage with the right color tones.

Adjustable Aperture The f/2.8-f/11 adjustable aperture delivers outstanding image quality both in high and low-light environments.

I don’t own this or any other drone. Last sat I saw one guy using at cape schanck, spent around 15 mins with him, I was really impressed by the drone, good image quality, although i saw only on his mobile, flying was very easy and he was very happy with the hassleblad camera. Almost felt he is one proud owner and showed me how the drone can come back with just one click. Ever since this is on my wish list, which has lots of other stuff on it at the moment so no way closer to getting this :-)

    • I'm with you these are amazing, but sadly I cannot justify such an expensive toy.

  • What about a spark you can get the combo on sale for $650

just out of curiosity (to justify the cost of a 2k drone), how is everyone using these?

      Casing joints before burglary.

    • I take mine on holiday and take some nice videos to capture where I have been. Adds a little "pizazz" to the old family holiday video. I see it like how my dad looks at a 2k DSLR to take family photos

    • I bought mine (admittedly the Mavic 2 Zoom, not the Pro… around $500 cheaper) to chase the dogs around the back yard.

It's my money, I don't need to justify it to anyone. It sounded like fun, so I bought it.

One of the first goes I had with it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4gZ-oY2dmY

And then I took it on a beach walk, and made a nice little memento of the day (although I made a boo-boo and had it in 24fps mode, doh!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUf5nZxdj8M

      • When I read "dogs" I was thinking 2 or 3, not 23 lol
