Bought the belt from tarocash from previous deal and it's too short. Asked to return but not accepted. They said can't return unless it's broken. Now I have to sell it through gumtree.

    • +2

Going by their website they should accept the return.

OUR CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS POLICY
Tarocash is happy to provide a full refund for all orders purchased online, exchanges and credit notes need to be processed in store provided:

      You present the tax invoice sent with your goods as proof of purchase;
      The item has not been worn or washed;
The swing ticket is still attached to the garment/item.

They're absolute (profanity) when it comes to returns/exchanges/refunds. I had a chick tell me I was lying that I bought it from them, only for me to then tell her I literally bought it off the guy who trained me in my Macca's days (seeing him was the reason I went into the store in the first place). It was a reversible belt. I wore it to a mates wedding for the second time, undid it and a spring popped out and into the dunny. $40 for a belt and it was one of those bonded leather pieces of crap that would be about $2 to make. Like I said to her, I don't want a refund, I just want a replacement considering you should get more than 2 wears out of a $40 belt. She said she had to send it away to be inspected and I never heard back. Absolute farce of a company!

      • Bring on the ACCC. 😡😡😡

    • Just call the customer service number and tell them what has happened.

    • What thats absurd. Shame on that person you talk to. It's in their policy. I returned my shirts when I found out quality was lacking. And they refunded me. Definitely try again

    • Thanks for letting us know. I won't even bother looking at them now. Hate wasting time on Gumtree, good luck with your sale.

    • That's BS. Try again and assert their policy.

I've never had an issue. I usually buy like 10 shirts at ultra cheap online and return what I don't like in store. Tags attached and unworn other than trial fit

Have you ever wondered how good a credit card Amex is when they have to repeatedly PAY people to use it??

    • +11

Best credit cards out imo. Smashed the screen on my phone, because I was paying my bill with Amex it cost me just 10% of the repair cost. Not to mention all these cash backs every month. Considering you can get a $0 fee card now there's no reason not to have one really…

    • It's called getting value for your annual fee

      • They have a $0 annual fee Qantas card and also there are a few other cards AMEX offers with travel credit equivalent to their annual fee too. You're getting great value on the former.

        • Yep travel credit = annual fee in my case.

But I want MOAR value! So these deals are nice

    • Does it matter?
I keep getting at least $400++ for every amex card i have.
That's already considering the annual fees and if i don't use the travel credit
And then there're cashbacks like shop small event

    • Got a ps4 slim for $199 2 years ago with my 0 fee AMEX.
If you're not onboard, you should be. Qantas and Virgin offer 0 fee cards.
As long as you don't spend money you don't have, you're winning.

Yd and Tarocash at the same time!!! Time to stock up on racing attire.

      Their suits are woeful

    • They're the same company. YD, Tarocash, Connor & Johnny Bigg are all the same company. I found that out the hard way!!

  • I came here for the comments.

Won't even consider buying Tarocash or yd even they are half price. Quality is rubbish and the whole brand is just cheap as.

    • Agreed

Agree. Sad to say but they might go down just like Roger davis.

    • Are there any YD retail shops existing?! The last one I ever seen in Perth CBD has closed down ages ago

I have a few plain, inoffensive work shirts from Tarocash that have lasted for years.

    • It varies. Some are really great (years). Some are really poor (5 washes). It is quite variable which I find weird.

      But I'm usually paying $5-20ea so I don't care.

  • Wow so many amex deals. I have 36 deals active / saved.

  • All my favorite clothing brands.

  • Didn't know tarocash is popular here as They are normally trashed on OzBargain but the enrollment is full.
