EA Help on twitter are offering free 7 day trials of Origin Access Basic, all you have to do it direct message them on twitter with #TRYBFV
The code is for a non-recurring membership so no cancellation is required, worked for me, may take a little to get the code.
Ends in roughly 12 hours.
First time posting so I hope I have done it correctly.
Remember to cancel before the trial ends. I was invited to a free trial by a friend, had to put payment details in. Being the forgetful mong I am, I forgot to cancel and am now stuck with a $7 bill. At least I get to finish my 10 hour trial of BF5 over the next month…
I activated the code and it said it is a non-recurring membership, I have zero payment options on my Origin account and it didn't ask for any, Battlefield 5 is downloading right now.
Now you've just made me jealous.
I was expecting to need to add payment details and to need to cancel it in a week but was pleasantly surprised when it didn't ask for any.

Not yet - doesn't seem to be automated.
It took a little over 2 hours for me to get my code, although I sent a message at 3:17am and got a reply at 5:30am, so not automated

Maybe as it's an American company the twitter people are asleep? I'm not sure

@AliensStoleMyMoney: Lucky! I actually can't get anything besides this where I live. It's a private complex with a private fiber connection that messed up the pipe size. Been in talks to get it all increased to 100/40 for a few months (at least to what is considered standard fiber speeds).

I think we'll be fine. It says to direct message them in the next 24 hours. So as long as you've messaged them within that time.

blackout is fun but more competition isn't bad considering pubg Aussie servers being dead as well as a broken game
@AliensStoleMyMoney: I'm surprised they didn't just automate it. Not like you can do much with a 7 day trial anyway.
@AliensStoleMyMoney: how is cod? I had a look at it when it was on sale, but I'm not usually a fan of the fast killing close combat ones. Prefer the bigger style maps crossed with close combat that battlefield has.
@exc3113nce: really good blackout is great dont play much of the other modes tbh (haven't tried zombies) last cod game i played was word at war (the old one)

Guess the person I got in customer service wasn't to keen on giving any codes. He told me that I had to wait until they responded back to my twitter message which is a pain.

Yeah that's a pretty good call. I think that happens with most live chat services, speak to a new agent and they'll tell you something completely different.
@AliensStoleMyMoney: I managed to get a trial and the game is exceptional. Only problem is for some stupid reason that you can't play in DirectX 12 mode on the trial, if you do so it says online is restricted so can't play multiplayer. Kind of sucks because for some reason my PC only runs well in DX12 but full game shouldn't be a problem.
