Sold my first release pro due to its very high jet like noise. I can barely barely hear anything with the new version. Word of advice tho, place the console above some sound/vibration dampening material to reduce vibration)noise from the disk drive.

Not necessarily. I've lived in London recently and the Amazon couriers are under immense pressure to deliver items. If they can't deliver an item or leave it somewhere safe (like a next door neighbour), they don't get paid for that item. I ordered a ~$1000 camera from Amazon UK and it supposedly got left with a neighbour who then insisted nothing was ever delivered. I contacted Amazon and after a day or 2, they organised a refund. Ever since then, I explicitly note that the item is not to be left with anyone else.

Yes that is true, however it also does more than just game too. My point was really just to say that the switch should not be looked at for its power, it's not Nintendo way to release powerful hardware and as such the price to power comparison does not work here.

Nintendo stuff has always been on the more expensive side of things. Also consider that the Switch is a portable as well as dockable console.

I've bought 4k TV recently so I think this would be worth it.
At least with RDR2 the Pro version maintains a more consistent frame rate than the slim. So even running it not in 4k there are still benefits, but it's up to you to decide if that is worth the upgrade.

Still doesn’t reach 60fps in most instances. For example with performance mode in god of war it drops to just above 40fps in high action scenes. I rather a stable 30fps if that’s the case.
