Good price but I wouldn't buy a HDD from overseas as it's one of the most likely components to fail in your PC. Good luck with the return warranty process.
Seagate provides a global warranty, there are no exlusions in their T&Cs for grey market products https://www.seagate.com/au/en/support/warranty-and-replaceme…
You just create an RMA based on the drive serial number and they send out a factory repaired drive. https://www.seagate.com/au/en/support/warranty-and-replaceme…
Isn't it easy for them to shrug off for this reason?
- Seagate is not responsible for loss or damage during transit. We suggest that you purchase insurance to cover your shipment.

yeah noThis kid…I've been working in IT for 9 years and you're trying to tell me?
yep
@Ostrk: The HDD has mechanically moving parts which is why it's the most likely part to fail. Care to chime in what the most likely part to fail is?
@Viospeed: not hdd
@Ostrk: So you have no idea?
@Viospeed: I have not worked in IT for 9 years, so no.
I'd say all HDD's are shipped from overseas so it's not really that much different.
What's the postage ETA?
When did they change the Barracuda label to green?
