I did a Millenium build and it seems like whatever configuration you choose this is insanely bad value.

    For $2,839.00 delivered I got:

    i5 9600K
    16GB (2x8) DDR4 2666MHz
500GB Samsung 970 EVO Series NVMe m.2 SSD
2TB ORIGIN PC Approved Hard Drive
    ASUS PRIME Z390-P
Corsair RM650i Fully Modular 80+ Gold
    6GB NVIDIA GTX 1060
    Windows 10 Home

You can get that from MSY for $2,109 (with the Fractal Design Define R6 instead of the Origin one). So you're paying $730 for the build and delivery, even after the "free" drives.

Eeeww $2800 for a 1060 system… Makes the Techmall or whatever they are called look amazing.

Was deceiving advertising a Corsair case in their photos too…

Most things in life aren't free, no surprise we end up paying for the drives

    • Hmm.. I was checking few other options as well. I think this config looks decent for $999.

Certainly better value but not good or anything. From MSY:

        Intel CORE i3-8100 3.60GHz $209.00
        ASRock H310M-HDV $85
        G.Skill 8GB DDR4 2400Mhz $95
        Asus Radeon EX-RX570-O4G 4GB Expedition OC RX 570 PCI-E VGA Card $199
        Kingston A400 120GB $35
        Coolermaster Litebox 3 $49
        Thermaltake 550Watt LitePower Gen 2 $55
        Total $727

-edit- wait a tic, I missed the monitor and KB/mouse. That makes it better. But still not good enough to recommend it.

        AOC MVA 23.6" M2470Swh $155
        HP J8F15AA C2500 Desktop Combo USB Keyboard/Mouse $15
        Editted Total: $897

      • For a grand? Probably close to what you'd end up paying Aus.

Mind that…I'm pretty sure the low end deals (better value) are flogged by Techfast's offerings, and with the high end flogfed by build your own.

I sent them an email awhile back asking what brands the “ORIGIN PC Approved” parts are and I got a reply back saying “Rest assured, all of our parts are high quailty.”

So I went to PLE and built the same PC for almost $700 less using brands I know.

    • Sounds like origin stinks
