That is correct! The small 180 plan for $49 comes down to $0.273 per day.

  • Is this a good offer considering black friday or there's a chance a similar deal will be repeated?
I have 5 months left on my current 16gb/month plan.

    • Look up history on Ozbargain, pretty simple :)

        • +1

          Hi ravBlr1982,

You can stack the plans up to 24 months.

      • I have the same question. There is a button to "Recharge" and it has the Black Friday pricing, but when you click on the button nothing happens (does not proceed to the payment page). Also, I currently have the Mega plan with 3 months left on the current voucher. How do I recharge on the Small plan? Does the remainder get forfeited?

        • Hi Repposh,

To recharge with the small plan, please proceed to the recharge page using the link below and select the SMALL180 plan.

          https://secure2.lebara-mobile.com.au/recharge?_ga=2.2778102.…

Once you recharge with the small plan, it will be activated only when your current plan expires.

      • just brought 180 6GB $49 and expire around April..can i save it for April when it current expire?

  • How does stacking work? I am currently one month into a 6 month plan.

Can I apply one of these specials and will it take effect immediately once my current plan expires?

    • Yep, just did it, extended me from May to October at a massive $8.20 a month.

      • hey Wardaddy,

We are glad to know that.
Thank you for your continued support.

      Hi dublin101,

Our plans are programmed to stack. Meaning, they will only kick in once your current plan expires.
In your case, if you recharge with a long term plan today, they will be activated after 5 months ( till your 6 month plan expires)
You can stack up to 24 months.

  • Great thanks :)

What if i dont receive the sim by 26/11?

    • Do you mean 30/11 ?

      • 26 as you cannot buy the plan without a sim.

      Hi there,

      Thank you for the post.

*Recharge Vouchers for existing customers are on promotion till 26th November Midnight.

*New customers can port in/ activate the deal by 30th Midnight.

*30 day SIM packs (Extra small, Small, Medium and Large plans) are 50% off till 26th Midnight.

Please reply to this thread should you have any further questions.

The Lebara website says "it may take up to 5 – 7 working days for delivery depending on where you live". Seems a bit risky to buy the sim card online considering it has arrive and be activated by 30 November. The activate by date is too short, I think I'll skip this one.

      • Grab a $2 starter SIM pack from Coles or Woolies

      • Hi there,

Please feel free to purchase a $2 starter pack from your closest Woolworths or Coles

    • +1

Buy a $2 Lebara SIM at your nearest retail store and recharge that instead. No need to wait.

  • Which are the 10 countries included in the small plan? Thanks.

  • Does small plan includes unlimited calls to India?

    • +2

      https://www.lebara.com.au/mobile-plans/rates

From this page, it appears that the small plan has 250 minutes of calling to India. If you were after unlimited calling to India, medium plan is the cheapest that includes it.

Happy to be corrected by the associate. :-)

      • Hi Aussieolfaction,

That is correct! Small plan has 250 minutes calling to India.

Thank you for answering this for us.

        • +4

No need to thank me, I've benefited immensely from this community and will do whatever little I could in return when possible. :-)

  • Why don't you make it as a long running deal with longer activation date instead of repeating it every few weeks.

    • +1

Just stack them. i.e. buy 2 X 180 day plans, no problem.

  • No information on what countries included in small and medium plans.. OP care to comment?

  • Click Recharge button, no response!

        Hi Outthere,
I am currently on the 16gb plan which ends in Feb. I bought the $119 voucher for 22GB to stack. But I received a text from Lebara saying I have been recharged till Aug for 16GB. Shouldn't I be getting 16Gb till Feb and then 22GB till Aug

        • +1

          Hi psyson,

That seems unusual. Could you please send us a private message along with your mobile number and the issue.
We would investigate it and get back to you ASAP

      • Hi does buying one of the Med or Large plans through this link just send me a voucher code I apply within my current number lebara portal?

      • Thanks, I changed the browser from chrome to firefox, ang it works!

  • +2

Hi, if I'm currently on the medium plan, which is due to expire in Feb 19, what happens if I buy some small plan recharge vouchers?

Does my plan stay at medium until it's current expiry in Feb 2019 and then convert to small plan?

    • Yes.

    • Hi there,

      That is correct.
You can recharge your mobile service with the small plan today and it would be activated only after your current plan has expired i.e. Feb 2019.

  • Just recharge twice to stack up 1 year! Thanks

    • +1

How much? It’s probably better than the kogan deal

      • How much? Seriously?

        • How much? Seriously? Seriously!

          • +2

@OhNoUShiz: Take a look at the headline. The cost is in every headline on OzB.

  • This or Kogan?

  • Is it cheaper than Kogan?

With Kogan you don't have to worry for one year.. with this one, another hunt afterb180 days.

    • +6

Which part of stacking are you not unerstanding?

      • My bad. I didn't know that stacking was possible in Lebara.

  • +4

Ouch.. "Starter packs must be activated by 30/11/2018"

    • +3

Yeah deal killer for me. Hopefully it'll be around again at end of Jan. These prices are better than Kogan, bearing in mind the 15% eBay discount is expired.

    • Hi virhlpool,

Hope this brings clarity about the promotion:

*Recharge Vouchers for existing customers are on promotion till 26th November Midnight.

*New customers can port in/ activate the deal by 30th Midnight.

*30 day SIM packs (Extra small, Small, Medium and Large plans) are 50% off till 26th Midnight.

      • +6

Very short duration, mate. Most people who bought Kogan 365-days plan last year have their plan ending in Dec-Feb.

        • -1

          Evidence?

          • +1

@Wardaddy: Volume of deals posted on OzB during that duration, comments on them, your general experience/ age on OzB forum and common sense. All these put together form an evidence for ya. Cheers, mate.

      • +4

You need to extend the activation date. How do you expect people to activate the sim in time when it takes 5-7 business days to receive it? It is totally unreasonable and you are missing out on potential customers, me being one of them.

        • Hi there.

You can purchase a $2 starter pack from your nearest Coles or Woolworhths and activate it on the promotional price.

  • I'm existing lebara prepaid customer, tried click here and there, couldn't buy or recharge it with this offer

    What's going on here?

  • +2

My recharges by CC went smoothly and you can stack up to 24 months.

I think this one is the best deal at the moment
    6GB
    3$ IDD
    98$ for 360 days or 196$ for 720 days

    • Hi

We are glad to know you are happy with the promotion.
Also, We have increased the IDD wallet from $3 to $5 in the small plan.

      • Hi rep, "Recharge details" still show $3 for IDD for a small plan. Can you fix it to make sure that we get $5 as in promo details?
        Thanks!

        • Hi there,

We can confirm that the IDD has been increased from $3 to $5.
This will be updated on the website ASAP.

  • Pity it has to be activated by end of November :(
Three months would of been nice!

    • +5

would have, not would of. Pet peeve.

      • Haha, when I re-read it, you are correct!
Must have been too annoyed at not getting a proper ozbargain :)

  • Hi Store rep
I am an existing customer and I am trying to recharge with the promo small 180 plan. What I came across is if I login and recharge then it shows $3 international credit but promo shows $5.Also I cannot recharge using PayPal only mc or Visa is accepted.
I looked at Lebara Voucher but the small 180day plan is not available only medium and large promo plans are.
Is there anyway you could add the small 180 promo to recharge voucher so we can use our Amex cards via PayPal. We love our Amex points😃
    Thank you

    • +1

      Hi there,

We understand the importance of you Amex points.
Please send us a private message along with yourt mobile number and we will find out a way to get you the small180 via amex card.

  • +2

Bought the lebara from their last deal which ended at 5th november… 6 months for 99$ (20 GB data and 10$ International credit). It was much better than this one

  • +1

My kids and wife are on the Kogan small plan with 3GB data and no international calls. This would be better with 6GB, same carrier too with Vodafone but the kids 365 day plans expire late December and my wife's is Feb so no deal with activation by end of November otherwise I'd be buying 2x180 day 6GB plan vouchers x 3.

    • +1

True. Agree this super short activation expiry date is ridiculous. However I speculate Kogan probably will release some matching or beating promotion soon. Hang in there…

  • If they extended the deal to 365 days, I'd definitely get it. In 180 days, then what? I don't think May/June is a great time of the year for discounted mobile plans for existing (or perhaps new) customers. Right now is a good time of the year to get a 365-day plan, as many plans are discounted at this time of the year. Looks like I'll be renewing with Kogan instead. Lebara isn't stupid. They know they're luring you in and hoping you just get stuck renewing with the full price after the 180 days are done.

    • Hi there,

      That is an interesting theory.
However, you can purchase more than one voucher and stack the plans upto 24 Months with our plans.

Please send us a private message should you have any further questions.

    • I'm sure there will be more "end of financial deals" then

  • +2

Rep: Is there any way you can extend the voucher validity by couple of months? I am on Kogan 365 day plan that runs up to January 2019.

  • For $49 plan it comes with 5 Gb data but now it is 6 gb what will happen after recharge get 1 go more or lose 1 gb

    • +1

You stay on 5GB until the first 180-days period ends with your 6GB kicking in afterwards.

  • Any chance of longer activation. Want to buy two and activate in December.

  • +1

I'm a bit teed off that the 6GB bonus data is only for new customers. Unlike Kogan who upgrade the data allowance automatically for all customers, new or old.

  • Which one is better Catch connect Kogan vs this deal

  • Pity there is no international roaming. Would have jumped on this for the next 2 years.

  • Thanks OP.
Just stacked 2 codes for an additional year.

Is there a way to have the receipts or invoices emailed through, please?

    • Hi there,
      That’s amazing. Welcome to Lebara!
Please call us on 126122 and we would be able to help you out with the invoices.
