I brought the minecraft xbox one s bundle because it was cheap and now really freaking love the colour. Surprised af.
Damned, the colour
I thought the colour scheme was garish, but when I actually opened up the box, it looked far more pleasant. Wouldn't be ashamed to be seen with it in public.

I'm not a Minecraft fan, but I have this controller and like it. It's "half" green… the underside and front side is dark grey.
The white version shows every little bit of dirt, scratches, grime etc.
For $50, it's doable. Honestly.
A friend has the green one and I liked it. I'm gonna grab one today.

@rictee: I honestly don't know, and didn't ask. Walked in, saw the price, deliberated a bit, grabbed one, paid and walked out.
tried getting this price matched at Nth Syd JB and they said no :/. Receipt wasn't sufficient :(
Still cheap at 49 though.
As an update: I am pretty sure now that it was a pricing error and I just got lucky.
In the same store, the pink Minecraft controller was priced at $99 - on the shelf right next to the green controller priced at @29.
As I was about to grab one, a lady from the store was busy taking all the green ones off the shelf. I grabbed one before she made off with them.
A colleague of mine went to the same store later and they were priced at $49.
Sorry for getting some folks' hopes up, but congrats on those who managed to get theirs a bit cheaper.

colours are shit but if you don't have an xbox one controller i'd still recommend this. they're really good. try out the rumble on games like forza, it's insane
I really don't understand all the hatred for these Minecraft controllers - I got the Amazon deal partly BECAUSE of the cool controller. Later I bought the Pig one too (my wife likes it because it's pink). I'm tempted to get another creeper one.
Green is actually 'the Xbox colour' (ie the colour of their logo, physical game cases, etc) and a lot of people go out of their way to add green decals and stuff to their console. I don't tend to look at the controller much anyway, I'm usually looking at the screen ;)
Look I actually don't mind the console - the colour scheme works well on it.
However on the controller there's way too much going on - all those different shades bug me. It's not that it's "Minecraft". It's cute, I'll give it that.

You can use the wireless ones with your PC, either via Bluetooth if your PC has it, or with a Micro-USB cable. I bought this one specifically so I can use it on my PC.

Yeah there are a heap of 4-player local games.
Useless controllers. Have fone through 4 in the past 7 Months. Controllers in general - not this one specifically. All warranty jobs but still annoying considering I never replaced a 360 controller.

I haven't had one fail yet. Had a bit of drift after a more than 2 years in one controller and fixed it easily with a couple of sprays of isopropyl alcohol.
Stuck buttons on 2 and 2 left sticks fail. Like I stop my player and I keep moving. Not a rager, use it for roughly 4 hours a week.
That is what I had happen. Kept walking forward. Couple of sprays around the stick and it is fixed.
Stuck buttons is normally user caused (crap stuck in the button hole). Had it happen on the 360. Just opened it up and cleaned the buttons.
If you don't like the colour, just take off the front panel and paint it! :)

Sweet, I applied the 10$ coupon cliamed from my older purchase 3 weeks ago and it came down to $39. I did not need a third controller but 39 was too less to pass.

They take a beating though. My kids have dropped our Microsoft controllers heaps of times on hardwood floors. Still keep on working.
