Zero reason to buy that when the snes also runs nes games with a simple mod.
Well aware of that. Unless of course you actually wanna buy one for nostalgic reasons….
NES is a whopping 90 cents cheaper.
@scuderiarmani: Sorry i am unable to find link. Can you please share?
Edit: Got it!
Do any of these come with wireless controllers?
Nope, just very short cables
Good thing extension cables are cheap. Goes for about $2.50 each from eBay.
Think the Snes made them a bit longer.
NES Or SNES? Which one is better? :)
SNES, without question.
Both have essentially the same internals; and can run NES and SNES games (among others) with relative ease.
The SNES has more buttons on the controller, which helps when playing games from other consoles. Plus, it comes with two controllers in the box.
it only comes with 20 games?
Is it easy to get more games?
Super easy. Barely an inconvenience.
Google Hakchi for details.
It wasn't there yesterday. Saw this last night after midnight but only ordered it this morning. Too bad I missed out on the 20% shopback still 12% is nothing to be sneezed at.
Not many people know about emulators right?
Ignoring the fact that this product itself is an emulator (or at least includes one), and the fact that you're getting the license to play these games legally… You're still getting some decent hardware here. The convenience of plug and play, multiple controllers, nostalgic packaging, plus the ability to modify it to add more games if you choose. It's not as simple as "but muh piracy".
So tempting. Especially after I had a look into how easy it is to add games…
It's expired! Damn, was keen to get it (delayed to long) and missed it by presumably about an hour…. Grrr.
C'mon Amazon bring it back for Cyber Monday! :)
NES same price too
