The Saucony Freedom ISO is the pinnacle of Saucony’s footwear lineup. Rarely does a shoe bring enough protection for long runs, maintain a light and responsive ride at fast paces, while still being a good choice for easy recovery runs. The Freedom ISO’s innovative full Everun midsole and ISO fit upper make this elusive experience possible. This shoe really does it all.

MIDSOLE

Full-length EVERUN midsole provides enhanced energy return as well as sufficient shock deepening cushioning.
EVERUN Topsole provides an additional layer of responsive cushioning to further enhance energy return.
OUTSOLE

Tri-Flex Crystal Rubber helps increase flexibility, adaptability, and durability of shoe.
UPPER

Engineered Mesh comprises the upper, providing lightweight breathability.
ISOFIT is a stretchable mesh that adapts to the foot's size, shape, and movement, creating an ultra-soft, sock-like feel.
Heel Support Frame supports the heel through the gait cycle.

  • Stack Height: 17mm (Heel), 17mm (Forefoot)

The stack height is actually 23mm/19mm with 4mm drop. I bought it less than 2 weeks ago at Click Frenzy thinking it was a bargain, and haven't taken it out for a run yet (new shoes for the new year). Should I buy another one in different colourway?

    • Why not?
      I like Navy/Denim/Copper

      • Yeah. Now tossing between getting another pair of Freedom ISO or Pegasus 35 for $88.19 from NIKE. Prefers lower drop so Pegasus' 29mm heel worries me, but I've already got a pair of Freedom ISO. Hmm…

        • I would get another pair of freedom iso, Nike has a 10mm drop. I rotate my shoes, I only wear them once a week to let the cushion recover. I just bought another pair of freedoms in a different color. My favourite shoes for mid week runs are in freedoms and Hokas. Race day I use adidas Boston or Kinvara. Now I have 2 freedoms for my mid week runs, yay.
I need a deal on some waterproof running shoes for rainy days, and some trail running shoes.

          • @Hugh G Rection: I don't race but has relatively high mileage (~3,000km for this year) so I am mainly looking for durable daily trainers. Alright I am leaning towards 2 pairs of Freedom ISO, and hopefully that will last me a while.

      • I was going to go with green, because I already have a blue pair. Instead I went with blue again 🤦‍♂️, it’s a great looking shoe, I couldn’t help myself.

  • For actual running Saucony beats Nike by a mile.
