    Got the TT bh040 a month ago from an earlier deal from Amazon, great build quality, great sound, very comfy and battery life is great too, it cancels most background noise but does not cancel people talking but it seems all other noise canceling headphones are the same in this regard, don't know why people would pay $300+ for Sony or Bose when TT just does the job perfectly.

      I was like, meh, not sure if I need noise cancelling, but I liked the wired and wireless, as well as decent battery life, and they were cheap enough. It was weird the first time I used it, but i don't know how I ever coped on the train without it. It sounds SO loud when I turn off the noise cancelling.

    Thanks @xev for following up after the last deal, picked up a pair of TT-BH040s. Didn't realise these were rounder ear-cups than the TT-BH22, though – mild buyer's remorse/panic at that, but I'll wait and give them a shot. Thanks again!

      I bought these in last month's Amazon deal and the round ear cups haven't been an issue. Having fairly big ears I was slightly worried too. I'd heard that the TT-BH022 had a more oval ear shape, but after using the BH-040's for a month it hasn't been an issue.

    What are key differences between the BH040 and BH22? Apart from the slightly different look, I'm having a hard time telling them apart. Is either one better suited for big heads?

      For a big head, I would definitely go for the BH040s

      They both work well and have great sound quality, the headband on the BH040s extends further, you should even be able to wear a hat.

      Hence why I asked about aptx LL (low Latency) codec. All Bluetooth will exhibit lag by nature of the technology….but the aptx LL codec reduces this down to about 40ms which is undetectable (apparently - I don't own a pair yet running this codec).

        Hi xev, apparently not. Was told by Shopback rep that the code is not approved, it will be tracked but will be rejected down the track.
        I have cancelled it and reordered with cashrewards.
        To anyone who is ordering this, use cashrewards instead if you like additional cashback.

    I bought the TT-BH22 in your previous deal, tried it on and I found it is a bit tight for my head and ears as I have a relatively larger head, hence I haven't use it at all since purchased. Any chance to return/exchange the BH22 for this BH40 if it has a larger headband?

      Hey Mate, it sounds like you would be happier with the BH040s.

      As far as returns are concerned, these products are fulfilled by Amazon so it would be up to them. Contact them by Text chat and discuss it with them. They are normally quite understanding so your chances are good.

      It couldn't be an exchange though, you would have to return one and purchase the other.

      If you aren't successful, the BH22s would make a great gift!
