Haha..I wish If I can get full/part time but I enjoy looking around and sharing as soon as I find one & this one saw at their homepage :D
Most of the time email subscriptions notification and price drop alerts :D

    A high yield investment!

You have to call their service to cancel your plan if you dont want to be charged for 2nd month.
I couldn't be bothered to call, so I let go of my 99c last time. I'd rather go with Kogan, I just tick no auto-renewal at activation.

    • +5

No you don't, just log on to catch connect and turn off auto recharge… done that with all my sims.

  • +3

With the terms copied word to word from Cashrewards :)

    • yes.. I took quick copy of knowledge reference from there as it is almost same TnC for catchconnect & now I have removed it :D

damn i just bought 2 from the just expired promo from cashrewards.
    shopback vs cashrewards hmmm lol

  • Use only promo codes from ShopBack? what does this mean?

    • +1

its standard terms on cashabck sites.. there is not code involved in this deal so simply ignore that part :)

      • thanks

Shopback failed to catch 3 out of my 4 orders on Aliexpress on 11/11. I'd be cautious with them.

  • +2

    nice thanks op.

  • +3

Thanks OP. I purchased one card. But only one thing I want to point out is that you cannot deactivate the auto recharge option until sim is activated.
Make sure you don't forget to deactivate the Auto recharge Option.

What’s considered new customer for Catch Connect please?

  • can I port my existing number to Catch? is it after activated the sim coz I don't see any option to port number when signed up.

    • Yes, you can. Porting request is done at the point when you activate your SIM.

      • Good luck porting out from CC

        • Agreed

        • oh really? what is the process like in your experience(s)?
I just ported out of kogan to catch connect lol. don't really intend to stay with them though..

          • @jussie2000: I created a thread in the forum section a while back

            • @tempura: seems like most ppl had trouble porting to kogan. well too late for me now as i am with cc already :(
I'll buy a telstra sim next to port out of cc to.

      • thanks F1ngolf

Not sure why, but when I click through I'm getting an error that the site can't be reached.. anybody else experiencing this?

  • Does Amex offer for catch.com.au work on Catch Connect website too?

  • i got the last deal from catch but when i use that sim as a hotspot on my phone, the internet connection does not work at all. very odd.

  • +1

    Thanks OP.

I have so many data need to run out lately. 🤢

  • Does anyone know if Catch supports Carrier Aggregation? Kogan doesn't and is limited to 50mbs down/50mbs up but Belong does and supports 100mbs down/50mbs up.

    • I don't think Kogan is limited to 50/50Mbps.
Unless it's specific to your device maybe?

  • Did I read correctly that it needs to be activated within 30 days?

    • Yes. That's what it says:- Activated within 30 days of purchase. Having said this, I managed to activate my previous SIM 5 days past 30 days from purchase date after went on live chat. Agent told me to have a go as they usually give some days of grace due to delivery. YMMV.

      • Thanks for confirming.

  • There was a problem creating your account.

It is obvious catch connect is using the exactly same website with OVO mobile hahaha
maybe the same company same team

  • Can this SIM be used in a 4g hotspot (I have an old one from Telstra)?

  • I am having trouble porting out from Moose to CC. I have been disconnected from Moose about an hour ago. Tried to use CC Sim Card and only be able to receive calls and sms, but not able to setup voicemail, make phone call or use internet. Call CC and they said awaiting from Moose confirmation. The question is why I can receive calls and sms with CC sim card ? When I try to make a call or sms, the message was I don't have enough credit.
Isn't that mean CC will need to do something about it as it is obviously the number has been ported by Moose ?

    • I faced the same problem a few months ago and the issue was CC needed to activate my prepaid plan after my mobile number was ported to CC. That was why incoming calls and SMS were fine; but no outgoing calls and SMS since there was no plan (credit) activated. Nothing to do with my previous mobile provider. Hope that by now, CC has activated your plan.

      • Yep, after I rang them again and got a different person. They realised that there was an issue and they escalated to their technical support. 3.5 hours later I got the connection.

    • What does it show on the CC's dashboard?

  • expired. no longer $4.90.

  • Yet again, I've looked and found ShopBack has not recorded my click - followed all instructions.
