It's a shame the Xiaomi Smart Plugs aren't compatible Google Home, they are so much cheaper.
The wifi ones are.
The zigbee ones are via homeadsistwnt / openHAB

I have a wifi one attached to my xmas tree lights and control it via my google home mini.
I use the xiaomi zigabee plugs thru Samsung Smartthings hub, and controlled by my Google home and Amazon Alexa
There is another Chinese brand Sonoff supports Google and Amazon, and of course, very cheap

Yes. I have the 110's, app and functionality all good with the TP Links.

These work quite well and another rebranded tuya device.
At least this deal is a tp-link model so its probably less outbound chatty.
