I believe this started on sale today as I didn't see it yesterday. For $199, I would say go get it! Usual price in the mid $300s. Harvey is selling at $314 and Myer still selling at $399.

The sound is fantastic for its size and the look is super retro cool! Note that this is not a portable speaker as it doesn't have built-in rechargeable battery. It is meant for use at home plugged into the mains.

Side note, this Marshall Acton is a 2015 model, and has been replaced by the Acton II model which came out last month. But I don't think it makes this model any less appealing given the price point.

  In some cases I actually prefer speakers without a built-in battery. Means not having to search for a replacement in 5 years time when the battery dies.

    Indeed, they actually last longer without the worry of a faulty or spent battery over time.

  Is this the Acton Bluetooth or the Acton Wireless? The photo and title state Bluetooth, but the specs mention Airplay/Chromecast/Spotify which are for the wireless version.

  If you get the bluetooth version, its bluetooth and Aux only.

  If you order this, screenshot so that if you receive the Bluetooth version, you can return or exchange it.

  On a side note, I have the Acton Wireless and I love it, have it hooked into a Google Home Mini and the sound quality is amazing for the price, beats almost anything else for this price!

    Yeah the title and specs are not aligned. Seems like a wireless version as the JB website stated it has wifi and Chromecast built-in. However the picture shows only 3 knobs which is for the bluetooth version (the wifi speaker has 4 knobs).

      Wow thanks mate. Seems like the deal for the Acton Bluetooth only model on the Marshall website with your 10% code is a really good deal at $152.10 and has free Fedex delivery. I wonder if the delivery is from the US though or it is from a local warehouse as it takes 5 business day for delivery according to the checkout info.
