Looks like a pretty good deal on the SMSL AD18 amplifier. It's the cheapest price I have seen it.

Looks to have great features and good reviews for the price.

  • Looks interesting, any one with knowledge as to how it compares to the TEAC one reguarly on mass drop? https://www.massdrop.com/buy/ai-101da-integrated-amplifier-w…

A little deceptive quoting 4ohm figures but hey that's audio…

From my recent research in regards to the Polk speaker deal this SMSL equipment has quite good reviews with most stating excellent bang for buck & build quality…

I just purchased the SMSL SA-50 with the Polks… All reviews read well..

      • Those 2 you linked were interesting too.

Have my dad using a cheapie $15-20 Chinese rubbish amp with some kef eggs on his desk, it runs well for that, but I want to power my old 2 PSB tower speakers in his lounge so could use a little more.

Very happy with mine @ $187.

Running Acoustic 3020 bookshelf speakers from a laptop in the kitchen.

  • Worth a watch if you've haven't seen all it can do: https://youtu.be/UEooiaet9eQ. I have the SMSL Sanskrit DAC and it's a fantastic sounding bit of kit. I'd be keen to try the AD18 with some efficient bookshelf speakers if I were in the market for a small system.

  • This is a good deal. Thanks OP bought one.

There rarely go down in price. Coupled with Amex and cashrewards, you won't find better.

They were $170 on aliexpress however missed out on 20% shopback discount. So this works out the same.

    • what amex/amazon deal are you referring to please?

  • Does it have auto on/off?
