    Everything is cheaper at cdkeys.com

    • -2

There's something for purchasing from a legitimate store.

      • +4

cdkeys isn't dodgy. iirc its only G2A and Kinguin where keys get revoked

      • +1

        CD keys is legit

        • How exactly? Are they a nominated reseller? Anyone who isn't is a nominated reseller and is selling cheap keys is using some trick, as a minimum grey imports, at worst (and usually the case) fraud/stolen keys.

In the best case scenario that cdkeys is merely selling grey imports they still can't be 'legit' because buying from certain regions does violate the T&C of almost every game. And whilst I'm all for not being ripped off compared to a 1st world country (so I should be able to access the cheapest price out of AU, UK, US, IT, DE, etc etc etc…) frankly it IS fair that we aren't paying the prices intended for a developing or financially challenged / underresourced nation.

So I honestly have no idea what you're talking about when you say they are legit. Your statement does not make sense because it is not possible. Please explain.

          • @justtoreply: I've triggered them, it's ok.

            They aren't a proper reseller, that's facts.

@scuderiarmani: I know. It's such a commonly held opinion that key sites are ok just because keys aren't getting banned, and that's wrong!

It's up to him to back up his/her statement with evidence. But of course, he/she can't. Although it'll be me that gets negged due to unpopular opinion.

            • @scuderiarmani: lol justtoreply seems to be the one thats triggered.

          • @justtoreply: Not sure why you're equating "fraud/stolen keys" to "grey import" keys - these are clearly not the same thing.

I'm absolutely ok with buying cheaper imported keys, in exactly the same way I buy cheaper imported electronics and clothes…

Hell, some of these are cheaper for physical console copies.

      • +2

Dead Rising 4 is $9 at EB Games. No deal here.

  • +7

I don't see any 95% off in that list, OP.

    • That's because there's only 2 unpopular looking games that are 95% off on the site from what I can see; Clones & Crazy Belts.

      • Civ5 Complete edition is close; 92% = $4.57

  • hopefully

  • Got Far Cry 5 20% cheaper via Ubisoft's UPlay store… I just needed to spend 100 'U points' to get the 20% voucher (I had 500+ on my account, normally I just spend that on in-game stuff).
