Awesome price for the sunscreen - 50% cheaper than Aldi's 500ml pump pack.

FYI if travelling overseas - for some reason sunscreen is much more expensive overseas than in Australia, like 10-20x more. Buy more than you think you'll need and take it with you. If backpacking then you can fit 5-6x 100ml tubes in a ziplock bag to get through airport security.

  • Excellent prices, great find!

If there's no stock nearby, you might be able to go and match @ Chemist Warehouse to get 10% of the difference off this price also. Different coloured packaging, but identical product.

  • 50% off Sunscreen & Tanning @ Coles starting 21st November as well.

  • A little bit of this on bait makes fish go crazy!

  • Is this a good sunscreen?

I have done a little bit of homework on sunscreen. Findings:

The skin is the largest organ of the body and it absorbs what you put on it. Any chemicals on the sunscreen get absorbed into the bloodstream.
Don't buy cheap sunscreen, especially with names to entice they are safe like 'cancer council' or 'surf live saving' or 'advance protection'. It's still full of cancer-causing chemicals.

Look at organic sunscreen with zinc. A quick Google search will turn out with results and suppliers.

note: organic is more expensive and needs to be applied more often (every 2 hrs depending on activity etc).
But again, seriously, it's your body, your health, it goes hand on hand with shampoo, soap and conditioner chemicals. It's stupidity to eat organic food and shower with chemicals.

And no, I am not vegan or wear a tin foil hat.

    • That’s a lot of pseudo science you posted. The skin doesn’t absorb everything you put into it. The skin in fact is an excellent barrier and it needs to be as it’s the first line of our immune system.

Where is your proof that cheap sunscreen firstly are “full of cancer-causing chemical”? Secondly where are the studies that associate these cheap sunscreens with cancer?

The same with talcon baby powder, eventually they found it causes ovarian cancer, or use of lead in medicine, it will be the same.
Because we cannot see it yet, it doesn't mean it's not there.

The skin absorbs e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. That is how for example Voltaren works, and nicotine patches etc..

        • You didn’t answer my questions. You essentially have made up science based on your beliefs. That doesn’t cut it. You made a claim you need to prove it. Otherwise it “Tin Foil” had conspiracy rubbish. It’s the same poor use of science that anti-vaxxers use.

  • 1 litre sunscreen back to $20. Cheers
