It worked. Last time I shared the code with my friend to get cheeseburger meal. I used the code an hour later and still worked.
There isn't a genetic code, nor is there a generic code either.

Thanks OP for trouble in getting generic code. I'm a HJ fan and rarely go to McD. I went with a friend who has the App. After downing the qtr pounder , I still prefer HJ burgers.
People in the main deal said you can get a generic code if you don't have an account but I haven't been able to work out how.
To get the generic code, just go onto the mymacca's app without logging in.

On Friday, it was 9528. I used it 3 times.
Its weird cause I went through the drivethrough and gave my code. Worked
I told my friend to screenshot his and it was the same code but when I went again in the afternoon, the rep said the code is invalid and if I used it?Also the 1st week or so, there was a generic code, most people posted the same code. But I didn't try it twice

I had a 'code already used' error the last one of these I tried in store, I was logged into the app and hadn't used it before. Very very annoying that they're scan only and then that happens. Dunno why they couldn't get them to work in the App if they work in the kiosk. I just made a new account and that one worked.

Cheers to those people who post the generic code. Sometimes when I log in and try to use my personal code, it tells me the code is already used (when I definitely haven't used it yet). Must be some double ups with the personal codes depending on how popular the deal is
Yeah, this is really shit coding or people are somehow guessing them because they're sequential or something and just one wrong letter makes it someone else's code.
