  • Switzerland imported refill and Japan imported ink?

    How does this work?

    • +4

Just like God, xiaomi works in mysterious ways.

      • +1

        Xia-men.

    • Swiss refill cartridge and the ink within is Japanese

  • You will make a hole on the paper with this scratchy pen

    • It's not that bad. I have a few of these.

      • +1

        It's not that bad.

Thanks, that fills me with confidence.

        • You're welcome.

      • +1

it's not that good either, I've bought 3x the white ones and 1 of the metal and none of them write smoothly.

    Does it have Bluetooth?

    • +2

      Blueink is more likely.

      B28 otoh…

sign your tooth with this pen you get Bluetooth. I assume the ink is in blue

I recently bought one of these. They're crap. Never writes well. Everyone seems to love them though so maybe I got a dud.

    • Same here

  • And China ball bearing = terrible writing experience

    • What's a good quality pen to get instead? I thought the mijia pen was decent

      • Tbh I just use the usual BIC stuff that my work provides. I have 3 of these Xiaomis and all 3 are absolutely terrible and my guess is it's because of the ball bearing.

    • There's no such thing as a China ball bearing.

With trackballs the only tiny bearings that do not pick up unremovable crap on the ball itself are teflon coated. Steel bearings pick up dust sized crap and ruin the smooth running of the bearing permanently. Maybe this is what happens with ballpoint pens also.

  • I bought three some months ago, I don't recommend.

    • There's two types.
I hate the white one, not worthy of the xiaomi name.

Gold and silver versions of this are available - love them, more expensive though.

I bought one of these. Never arrived. Still happy with the purchase.

I really don't understand the negative comments above. I use one and it's great!

Love it so much. It has perfect weight. The surface has this velvety feeling, good for my always sweaty hand. The ink flow is also very smooth.

Definitely better than the generic ballpoints provided at the office.

    • +1

The ink flow is also very smooth.

Mine seems to have prostate problem

    • Agreed I have multiple white ones and the ink flow is excellent. However I bought one of the gold ones and experienced the issues people are mentioning here. I bought new ink for it and now all is well. Still pretty crap they sometimes come scratchy from new.

  • +1

I really liked mine too! It's a weighty pen that feels really luxe to write with.

  • I've given up on ball point pens. Never had a good one that actually lasts.

Prefer the artline 0.4mm fibre tip pens. I've tried other felt tip pens but they generally show through the page, whereas the artline ones seem to avoid it.

Cost isn't an issue for me though as work provides them. :p

  • So they want to spy what I'm writing?

  • for 2019 delivery?

  • U could just change the refill?

Waiting for mine 2 run-out so I can use my supply of gel ink refills..

  • I got them for $6cents in here

  • Was only offered shipping for $9…not sure why it isnt working for me
