  • Has anybody used them?
how do they compare to finish and Fairy?

Got the same on the back of my receipt. Are these any good? Looks like a new Woolworth's private brand.

Choice tested in September the Woolworths Select Shine All in 1 which rated at 65. Top brand scored 80. Doesn't look like they sell Woolworths Select anymore so I'm guessing this is a rebrand.

At 9c a wash that's the cheapest on the market. ALDI's are 15-20c per tablet. Even ALDI's powder is 7c a wash.

    • Don't listen to Choice on anything. They charge suppliers for being a "Partner" and to show their logo as approval. This creates an incentive to bag anyone that doesn't pay them. They are conflicted and you can see it in their "reviews" where there slam anything that is not in a "partnership". e.g. the recent one showing cleaning products being less effective than water. Really?

      • Sorry but that's a bit misleading.

Choice Recommended. Brands can use the logo in their packaging under a licencing fee. However a company wouldn't run it under products that do poorly. For example, ALDI's Logix tablets are rated well and carry the Choice logo. ALDI dishwashing powder is not and it doesn't carry the Choice logo. Same goes with other stores/brands.

I used to work in the government in an organisation that focuses on science. We licenced out photos, sold journal subscriptions etc for use for companies, unis, media etc. It was different staff/dept to the ones doing experiments/research. It didn't compromise the science and govt/organisations need different revenue streams especially Choice who relies on memberships only.

        • That old "little bit pregnant" chestnut.

Thanks OP. Bought a few packets no problem via self service check out.

Trick is to scan one packet per transaction along with the voucher for discount (make multiple single transactions if you want to buy multiple).

    • In the past, the system allows you scan the coupon 2+ times for you to buy 2+ products in one transaction. Not sure if the terms 1 per transaction strictly applies.

    • What did you scan? an original, screenshot or a printout?

I just scanned the barcode from back of the packet on the product. And scanned the voucher from my phone (zoomed in the pic OP posted to make the barcode bigger).

        Worked no dramas!

  • Excellent thanks OP - can vouch these are really good !! Very impressed for the price
