For those that have simple needs for a phone or on a budget.
Broke my Huawei Y5 2017 and was thinking of replacing it with the newer Y5 2018, Y6 2018 or some other grey import around the same price range as other mentioned phones. Now with the discount code, it is still a little more expensive than the phones I mentioned, but from my research, the battery, fingerprint scanner, dual sim(4G/4G) and local stock justified the extra cost for me.

True, but I was pretty happy with my Y5 2017 until I dropped it. I know its sub standard, but I have basic needs. So this is a upgrade for me.
Its not sub standard if it does what you require. This phone would be an upgrade for me too, if i felt the need to upgrade.
Compared to my previous y5 2017, everything is a bit slower, but no big deal for me and worth the sacrifice for extra features.
If you are going to spend "a little" more, may as well make it $80 and get the Z2 play. 4GB, 64GB, amoled, nfc, …

This is a great phone for the $$$. It's robust, clean OS, ok camera, dual sim + SD, and sensational battery life. We have one on school duty for one of our kids, and this case fits very well.
So far, totally agree. Considering I have been breaking 2 phones in the last two years, I even ordered the same case last night.
Using this as a replacement for my pixel while i get it fixed. Not a bad phone at all, fantastic battery life.
Noticeable performance where Camera is a bit slow, Snapchat lags a bit. But this is coming from a pixel and for 150 its more than acceptable.
