Not a bad deal at all! Good find OP.
Been looking at sites for cheap batteries, you really need like 2-4 due to the short flight times.
Found the batteries here for $18 along with other accessories: https://www.d1store.com.au/products/tello-battery

  • Thanks OP.. Had this one bookmarked at JB ($169) for Christmas

  • Has the horrible video stutter been fixed yet? I can't seem to find any supporting evidence.

  • The spark is also on sale. Much better drone 5 times the price.

    • If Spark is 5x better, its worth it.

      • I wish I could just splurge on the spark. Not sure how to work out if it's 5 x better.

        • Mavic pro is worth it if it's 20x better lol.

  • With Melbourne terrible drone laws the Tello is perfect for me as an indoor toy. With the protective cage and prop guards it's surprisingly resilient to crashes. I don't want to crash a $600 drone indoors.

  • Almost bought the Tello from this deal, especially since I got a targeted $20 to spend, and 10% eBay Discount Code from previous deal, BUT then this came along, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/413219, a Spark Fly More Combo at its cheapest with 10% Cashrewards! Didn't hesitate at all!

  • I would get the spark. If I had somewhere close to fly it. Living inner city is almost impossible….

  • Just realized, remote is not included. Using smartphone as controller is a bit fiddly, depending on your smartphone.

  • As i've now purchased a Spark, I'd be happy to sell ($99) my Tello (used a handful of times) to an interested drone pilot. It was a perfect introductory drone before upgrading. I'll also give you a brand new wifi extender (which allows the drone to travel a fair bit further).
    I'm based in Brisbane

  • Lucky brisbane! Much easier to fly drones than Melbourne.
