  I am always skeptical of these "offers".

  What do you offer over something like Hotelscombined or a 15% Obitz promo code doesn't already provide?

      Hotelscombined is a unit of Booking Holdings that offer retail rates to the public. Club 1 Hotels offers wholesale rates that are not available to the public to its members (which is why you have to join). Kinda like Costco, you have to join first before you can shop at their wholesale warehouse.

      Plus, Hotelscombined's "Best Price Guarantee" only refunds the difference of a booking (a.k.a Price Match) whereas Club 1 Hotels offers its members Guaranteed Savings on booking made more than 7 days of arrival.

  But if someone booked a $4,000 trip they would only get a $200 booking credit with this offer, and not 10% Off.
  However, I like the idea and will suggest our team run a 10% off promotion next time with no cap on spending👍

  joined. but its a fail !

  Before i joined i just booked a hotel in Dubbo NSW for $73.16USD (Cheaptickets) and Club 1 is $98.04. This price is around 10% more that the regular rate at most sites and more that 25% more than the price i got !

  Tried a bunch of other location and all well above the best rates.

  Also the rate on the search results screen is not the rate given when you click "reserve" e.g. search screen is $70, booking screen is $83 + $17 Tax/fees so $100

  Ok, so while the results of my analysis are a that the prices lot more than the best price you can find I was able to get them to knock $10USD off the best price I had and it wasn’t as hard as I expected although a web form would be so much easier.

  So is it good for hassle free bookings ? No for hassle free use OffHotels.com and click the discount coupons button on the home page (desktop version only) to get the best rate and use a coupon to make it better :)

  But… If you are happy to email a few times and take a screenshot of your best price and pay in USD etc then you can save (as per above $10-$25USD off your best price per night to the max above)

  Given I did save I revoke my negative vote 😊

    Thanks @vanleeuwen and OP. Was about to downvote the deal, but price beat makes it not unreasonable.
    I've done a dozen price comparisons against Club1 and when factoring in exchange rates and taxes the prices were universally more expensive.
    Also nice tip on offhotels.com, hadn't seen that one before. Cheers.
