these games dont need internet connection to play. just play stand alone. they arent going to recode each and every game. a serial number either works or doesnt work… and once the game is registered, itll work fine.
just tested my first DL (splinter cell), working perfect :).
UBI games send a heart beat at start up, and if you dont have your pc connected to the internet, it wont work, Assassin Creed II being one of them games! I do agree, Its a Fantastic deal, but you will find that most of them will stop working, and you will wish you remembered this post, download away to your hearts contents, im just sharing

did some research on google on ubISoFt…they have given FREE full Version Games out quite a few times….a quick google search will prove it.
I don't have internet on my games pc, and Far Cry 2 still works on it. The dialogue box that comes up just goes away and I am into the game
It's already been mentioned that at least RUSE and Bloody Good Time can be be added on Steam, so there's two free games they can't take away. That alone makes the bargain :)

i got the bundel first and it had no serial in that email… and then tried to get far cry 2 buy itself and that processed but didnt spit out a serial or send me an email…

Cool, I just know how ubi's DRM works.. Even if the game is single player, when a file tells it to check things! and there is no internet connection it will error out, UBI will nuke all of those seriel numbers they are sending out and when the DRM tells it to check with ubi, it will fail, I called UBI because I belive this post to good to be true, and do not want to waste the little quota I have for them not to work! UBI advised it is a glitch in there systems at the moment due to an update!
